HI Guy"s
We did this in June which quite a few eople said was good so I thought I would try another one in July as quite a few people liked it it seems.
http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=13816.0
The idea would be it starts 6th July although if people don"t see the thread until the weekend they can still play then and start on 8th July instead. The last day for entries will be 07/07/2013
It is very easy, all Pokerstars games count, highest ROI wins. If we get the same interest as the last one we can do prizes for the top three but we will see how many want to take part first. The entry is $10 which needs to be shipped to me at the start of the event (I assume I am an upstanding enough member of the community to hold the prize money, everybody knows who I am). Please post here if you want to play ship your $10 entry to 33teetwo33 on Pokerstars. You need to do both of these to enter don"t post and say I will ship next week, we don"t mind a delay of like 24 hours or so as I get people are in work etc but you have to ship before the start of the league.
Sharkscope needs to be unlocked and the minimum number of games is 25. There is no maximum.

.
-
Just sng"s or mtt"s included as well?
-
All Pokerstars games? Does that mean including non-Texas?
-
It means all tournament games, Holdem, non holdem, Irish, whatever you can ind on there. If Sharkscope can pick it up it counts.
-
In, will ship tonight.
-
suggest John Murray holds all monies entered.
This doesnt calsh with any BCPC events at all does it?
-
shipped, GG to whoever wins.
-
I"m going on holiday this month, so for that reason, I"m out.

It clashes with PHIL_TC"s stag weekend quite a quiet response though will wait the weekend though.

not for me guys.....too many options there and really cant compete in volume compared to likes of Mark etc.....if it was just sng"s of specific type(45"s, 90"s or 180"s) might be interested but going to be trying to play million couple times this month and if don"t cash at all would bring any roi gained in sng"s down I guess!!
glgl all playing though

How wold it bring ROI down? ROI is return on investment, not profit.

if its total roi on stars and u built up good roi playing $5/10 45/90 mans then played couple $100-200 mtt"s with no cash wouldn"t this bring the total roi down?

Works both ways too, you min cash the Sunday Million and your ROI built up from the $5 SNG"s goes through the roof.
Bankroll management though...

Good job someone quoted this before Rodders realised what he had posted and deleted it.

Oh yeah it will, meh I was thinking it would average you ROI from each tournament but that"s not how it works obv, this idea of how to work out the winner is not as good as I thought :-(.

yeah like I said too many options going on there.....happy to be in if its just say 45/90/180 man sng"s or one specific type(apart from just 180"s!!)

I"ll pass this month Rodders - not really an extra challenge as it will just be the normal games i play. If you go back to specific games to concentrate on in future I"ll give it another bash.
-
We still doing this Rod? I dont mind if there is only a few of us.

May as well go with it, you are both basically freerolling already :-)
-
Well we are doing really well aren"t we
Rodders: Played: 20, ROI: -19.2%
Mark: Played: 15, ROI: -59.7%
Stu: Played: 1, ROI: -100%
-
How about a micro millions challenge? Base it on roi or profit?

Rodders likes this
Not sure I could play enough of them but it is a really good idea
-
Not sure i could either , most of us are in the same boat with working five days I would assume so I guess it would be tea time and weekend tourneys for most people
-
Current Standards from Sharkscope
Rodders: Games: 60 ROI: 13.9%
Stu: Games: 12 ROI: -40.5%
Mark: Games: 58 ROI: -45.3%
I can"t post the screenshot of Sharkscope on here. Stu I have sent it to you on Facebook, Mark I can"t find you on Facebook for some reason?

Pretty one sided this month at the moment, bink needed today to change this. Stu still has to play 7 more tournaments of course.

I couldn"t be bothered to play the big games this evening. Had a good day on the 180"s but not good enough to catch you I don"t think. Had a win and a 2nd and three more final tables though
-
Good effort mate, the way i am being knocked out of these tournies you could catch me yet :D
-
Nah, had a good day but not good enough, you just need to play 5 tournaments in the next 3 days to win which is easy enough. Mark did a downswing this month after getting the lot last month, shows how you swing in these things, they are really good for learning the right shoving and calling ranges though which is the point in playing them.

Still 3 days to go but I don"t see me playing many (if any) for the rest of the month so the fat lady is warming up unless Mark is planning any further sessions.
-
Am done this month, didn"t play any $2.50"s, just a mix of MTT"s. Thought I was going to get out of it last night but missed out on the decent money.

Yep swings even bigger in those. Very easy to go a month with no cashes at all. One month we should do a 1000+ player tournament challenge.
Anyway....
Ladies, Gentlemen and apaters. After many gruelling tournaments here is your winner.....
Stuart Ward
Congratulations on a fine performance sir.
Now send me a picture of you kissing your gold medal and I will send you your prize

Recieved cheers Rodders!
Have decided to donate all money to the Critical Care Unit at North Tees Hospital, who did everything they possibly could for my dad and my family before he passed away. Great people who very rarely get the recognition they deserve.

Nice one Stu, great cause.
