I"d just like to wish all the APAT regulars, and newcomers, the best of luck in Edinburgh - If last years event is anything to go by, it"s going to be a blast.
And, a big thanks to Des, Rich and the team for bringing us yet another National event, and the "big tournament" poker experience.
PS: Caz is getting giddy (http://blondepoker.com/forum/smileys/default/mexicanwave.gif)

Yeah, thanks to everyone at APAT for organising this and giving us amatuers a chance to play in a great event. I"m definitely looking forward to playing in a big tournament with a great starting stack, blind increase and structure...
Good luck to everyone!

Yup GL to every1, I was railing last year"s and it was a gr8 atmosphere and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Ditto with the big thanks to the guys who have organised yet another National for us.

New to this APAT lark but hope i can carry on my recent good form (2 wins and a 2nd in last 4 APAT tourneys) in Edinburgh.
Loving the structure of all APAT tourneys and the unusual chance of playing some real poker with some quality human beings.
See ya in bonnie scotland

Kinboshi ftw. He"s been practicising a lot at DTD so he must know what he"s doing by now.

What a great day, cheers to APAT and everyone involved. Unfortunately ran into big hands with KK and QQ within a matter of 15 minutes then with just over 2k left tried to double up with JK off suit. No joy with any of the 3 hands so my 15k disappeared very quickly. There"s always the next tournament
Please count me in for the Irish qualifier on 17th May.
Cheers

Big thanks to Des, Tikay, bloke with the laptop, and young lad doing the chip-counts (sorry don"t know your names), staff at the Maybury, and everyone else involved in organising another great tourney. Thanks to all the players throughout, particularly to everyone at the final table for being so friendly (and not giving me stick for my horrible play), and to everyone who stuck around to give such great support to those still playing (especially Mickey and those sicko"s playing sng"s come 7pm on Sunday ;D).

Got a great shot of Des and Rich, thinking of putting it up on the forum when I get back off holiday as a caption comp ::)

Fantastic weekend (except the migrain early hours of Sunday), great to catch up with everyone and meet with a load more. Great organisation again, great maybury staff, great atmosphere, great fun!
Managed to drag myself home, and admitted to wife that I am an addict and a degenerate of poker.... oh well, I suppose the first step is always admitting it.....not gonna change me though!
;D
Can"t make Ireland, so good luck to those that go. Hope to see ya"ll at the forum challenge, if not in London.
;D ;D
