APAT/LPPL Las Vegas Mini League!
Shared accommodation in one of the famous Las Vegas Hotel/Casino Complexes
Can you please clarify what this means.
Is it potentially sharing a room with Ger?
Is it an apartment with 6 strangers?
Is it a standard strip hotel room where I can pay for the extra flight and bring my wife?

This means you will be allocated a "shared twin room" in a Las Vegas hotel - historically on the Strip but we may move the accommodation to Fremont Street for next year - without doubt people will be able to pay any difference and bring along partners etc to ensure that they share the same room.

the final of this tournament clashes with live apat tourney in vegas which does not make sense to me as we would probably have more players in this event if it did not clash,it does not affect me but it does not seem logical to clash with your own live tourney

kohan yes it does - we have historically identified Sat evenings as the best time to hold these online playoffs/finals to ensure maximum attendance in them - but the weekend before is the APAT Scottish Amateur Poker Championship on Sat/Sun with the APAT Scottish Pub Poker Championship on Sun - and as we didn"t want to delay the final too much into the following month (ie Nov) the 9th was the lesser of two evils in this case with the majority of players who would traditionally play the Mini League attending the weekend in Glasgow as opposed to the weekend Vegas.

Don"t forget, the league continues tonight, and every night throughout October.
Tomorrow I will make payments for all games to date, and will also publish the first set of league tables.

Players have now been all been paid for the period 8th > 14th October.

Quick bump for this. It"s the final 4 days to consolidate points needed to get into the top 8. You"ve also 4 more chances left to increase your "games played" to 8, therefore qualifying for the playoff!
Note: Tourney were initially showing and 8.30pm start time. This has now been corrected to 9.30pm.

Quick update: The playoff and final games are not yet listed in the lobby - still waiting for confirmation from Boss. Will chase tomorrow AM and update.

Just spoke to Boss. These tourneys will be set up "in the next couple of hours". I will post again to confirm when this is done so you can all get regging.

Touneys are now live. I"ve auto registered the 8 players who have auto-qualified for the final. Please check you are registered.
Registration is open for the playoff. Register now if you can please :) It is listed under "Multi Tourney" > "Private" as "Mini League Playoff". (09/11 19:00)
If you don"t have the password for the playoff, and played more than 8 games but finished outside the top 8, then please PM me and I"ll send it in reply.

Are they aware that the final Heads Up from the play-off actually auto qualifies for the 10 man final... If I qualify I would like to play the final table this time...

They were aware last time but messed it up. I spoke to them earlier today (well, yesterday now) to double check it has been setup correctly, and they confirmed it definitely has been.

There"s still 4 people who qualified for the playoff who haven"t registered... You"ve got just over 30 minutes to register as there is no late reg. for this game.

Entrance in to the exclusive APAT LPPL WSOP Satellite Freeroll (for entry to a WSOP bracelet event)
Access to all other LPPL Social events
Matt, can you enlighten us as to what all this entails please. With whom is the accommodation shared? What is the satellite freeroll, how exclusive is it and how many seats are how many people playing for? What LPPL social events are there or have there been previously?

I expect the trip to take place in June 2014 - probably departing on 4th or 5th from Manchester and returning after 7 nights in Vegas - but that"s all tbc.
Shared accommodation will be with another APAT/LPPL traveller in a twin room.
The exclusive Satellite will be a private freeroll played in a casino poker room with the winner gaining entry to a WSOP bracelet event - usually over the weekend - it will only be for APAT/LPPL members. Players have historically chosen to "add" to the prizepool to generate more WSOP seats.
Socially we look to meet up each morning and evening so everyone has a poc and can discuss their plans for the day - and invite others along. We are looking to organise days out where travellers can decide to participate or not - day trips to canyon, an evening "downtown" (ie Fremont St), golfing day, evening "show" etc.
My main emphasis is to ensure that no-one feels left out, that everyone is involved in the social events (if they wish) and that I"m around as the host to help them out with things - and whilst playing some poker, have a quiet drink!

Thanks Tom for clearing that all up, I"m even more gutted now that I didn"t win last night. Congrats to Roy, I"ll be trying even harder to emulate him now.
