No

One day tournaments?
Yes - to allow maximum opportunities throughout the weekend for players who don"t go so deep.
-

is there any idea when the dates are going to be confirmed for this one. with around 8 of us trying to get to this one, and some of them need to book days off so any info would be appreciated.

thx

Yes - to allow maximum opportunities throughout the weekend for players who don"t go so deep.
Having the first tournament as a decent clock traditional APAT structure doesn"t preclude having the 30 minute job on the Sunday though, which gives the same opportunities

I don"t believe it does for those who make Day 2 of the "traditional APAT structure" (2 day event) - being that they"ll be playing Day 2 of the "traditional APAT structure" event and miss #3 (and potentially #4)?

registered for #1 looking forward to it

Running deep in #1 prevents you from playing #2 so maybe make everything a 15 minute clock and reduce starting stack?
Sorry, that"s clearly facetious but you get my drift?
Immaterial for me at this event, I wouldn"t play at Aspers Newcastle whatever the structure. But i do want to play at other APAT events so hope this change isn"t going to become the norm

The norm for "National Amateur Poker Championship" events will remain a usual 2-day deepstack event David.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I shall no longer be able to attend APAT Newcastle on March 1st to 3rd.
I have a double room booked at the Premier Inn Newcastle Quayside in the middle of the toon, which is available on a first come first served basis for £39 per night. Current rates are circa £75 per night I believe.
If you are interested IM me asap.
Thanks

when and were will I be able to buy in for these.

Got to be the quietest build up to an APAT event ever! Is anybody actually playing Newcastle this weekend? If the numbers of APAT regs is as low as it feels like, has the event been well publicised in the Casino? Are they expecting a lot of walk ups?

Don"t think many of the Stockton mob are playing, I"ll be there Sunday for the main. Think Stu Ward is going to play the PLO on the Sunday last I heard.
I suspect the Sunderland mob might have other things on their mind this weekend with it being the Capital One Cup final.
Anyone else?

The casino have players coming but I think it"ll be pretty quiet myself, with it not being an APAT national event.
