Following the WCOAP, and before the start of Season 8, we hope to run a special "Summer Series" featuring all the variants of the game it"s possible to hold on iPoker. More details on this to follow (soon).
Well played will look forward to this :)

Unlikely, tbf we"re lucky if we get back for 9 some weeks. Normally home for about half 8 - not to worry!

I"m thinking about making late reg. 2 hours long, so as to cater for as many players as possible (it is the Main Event after all). I don"t think extended late reg. will have much of an effect on finishing time, but it will allow players like yourself who may struggle to get home in time for 8pm, to play.

If you"re worried about finishing time, make late reg 90 minutes IMO. 2 hour late reg sometimes feels like a chore when you"re in at the start and also people registering at 9pm probably have 10bbs or something like that.
It does depend on your blind structure really, so I"ll go and have a look at it :)

It"s not in the lobby yet, but I"ll post on first post (give me 5)...

Oops, just noticed it isnt there until tomorrow, so I looked at the NOL structure instead (assuming they will be the same) and if it is 90 mins LR, taking into account the sync break, the blinds should just be going up to 80/160 when late reg closes, meaning SS would be 62bbs ish. That"s more than fair IMO.
If it went to 2hrs and you"re regging at the end, blinds would theoretically be at the start of Level 10 (100/200-25), meaning you have 50bbs and an M < 20. Perfectly reasonable, but not really an incentive to join that late :)

Blind levels added to first post.
After 2 hours, you"d be on 125/250, which given a starting stack of 10k is still 40bbs...

Same structure as the NOL, perfect :)
Still think 90 mins LR is best for everybody.

Gutted - can"t play WCOAP online tomorrow night. Will be away at a family get together, and consoling myself with copious beverage. Guess there"s a plus side :)

Matt, does this take into account the 5 minutes sync breaks at 7.55pm and 8.55pm?

Yes, so 9.10pm is when late reg finishes.

15 minutes until kickoff of the Main Event. But don"t worry if you can"t make 7pm, as there"s 2 hours of late reg!
