Eurovision Sweepstake 2014
Stick your name down and I"ll randomly allocate you a country.
Either play "just for fun"
OR...
If you also place a £5 (or higher) bet on your allocated country, and your country goes on to win, I"ll credit your Coral account with an extra £20.
All players who place the bet will be entered into a special "Eurovision Freeroll*" to be held on Sunday 18th May @8pm on Coral. Good luck!! :)
* Prize pool for this will depend on number of bets placed. < 10 bets = £20, 11 > 19 bets = £50, > 20 bets = £100.
Draw for teams will be made Friday 9th May at 8pm. So hurry!. You will then have from then until the show starts on Saturday at 8pm to place your bet!**
** If you intend to place a bet, please include your Coral nickname so I can easily check this.

The idea is to back before kick-off so you don"t know what you"re getting :)
I don"t think that Coral are doing "in play" for this anyway.

If you want the added value and freeroll entry, then please read (and act on) the following:
You now have the option to back the country you were allocated to the tune of £5. (via Coral - see link on first post if you don"t already have an account).
If you do, you be eligible to enter the special Eurovision Freeroll on Sunday 18th May. You will also be credited with a bonus £20 should your selection go on to win.
Once you"ve placed your bet, please post on this thread, so I can total the number of entries, and work out how much the freeroll will be for (again, see first post for rules).

I"ve not heard any of the songs yet - want it to be a surprise :) Though, Germany must surely be awful given their odds? Unless Eurovision has got nothing to do with music, and it"s just a country popularity voting contest? (o rly?)

Drawing Austria, he placed the bet at a paltry 3/1, but with APAT Enhanced Odds (c), he got 7/1! £5 on pays £40. (the bonus £20 will be credited on Monday).
Details for next weekend"s Eurovision freeroll will be forwarded to all who backed their country in the sweepstake, by the middle of next week.
