Congratulations to John Murray making his second cash of the series 168 left short stacked but a chip and a chair.
Also Dave Burt riding high in 23rd with 63k doing fantastic!!
Best of luck guys..

APATer John Miller also made his second cash in this.
But the big news is LPPL/APAT players Dave Burt and Liam Alcock, currently smashing events #21 and #23.
Dave 10/17. Liam 1/10.

Liam has reached the final table of Event #23.
He had to contend with Doug Polk on his left for a while. For those of you who don"t know Polk, he"s a $500/$1,000 NL Hold'em Heads-up cash game specialist who is buying into the One Drop for $1m!

Polk won"t have come across a player like Liam for a while....
Awesome job boys...bring it home!

The boys are in good spirits -
Dave Burt #21 comes back today down to final 16 - short stack but got a bit of play to give himself a chance - Dave is a solid, thoughtful and reserved player but who has been trying to identify spots from those he has observed throughout the day - he"s on a very solid table with some seriously experienced players.
Liam Alcock has gone from the heights of LPPL Invitational Team Captain for the recent LPPL Interleague Challenge to Final Table 9 #23 - Liam had Polk on his left up until they re-drew for Final Table and now got him on his immediate right - Liam is aggressive and not afraid to make plays - and I expect this to be one seriously entertaining Final Table with Liam involved in it.
Our best ever WSOP finish was in 2009 with Steve Bradbury finishing 7th and winning $75k http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=130494 - here"s hoping we can beat that... we"ll certainly be railing them all the way...
-
Good luck to both of them

Liam 5th in event #23 for $54k+
Dave 9th in event #21 for $24k+
