Des, or anybody else, can you please explain how the heads up works. I have only played in one before, it was not as I expected. I thought it would be on a strait forward knockout. On a round by round format i.e. round 1 1500 chips you win, round 2 1500 chips you win, round 3 1500 chips and so on. But the one I played in you carried forward your chips i.e. round 1 you win you now have 3000 in chips but you could be playing against some one who as knock out 3 players and has 6000 in chips, so your at a disadvantage.

What rules does WCOAP work to?

Hey Nosey, i believe that on stars they are usually straight forward knockouts, as in round 1 everyone is paired up and round 2 wont start until all the round 1 fixtures have reached a conclusion. Also i believe that you usually start round 2 with whatever the allocation was in round one etc round one you start with 1500, round two you start again with 1500 and so on

In this case i assume you start each round with 2500 chips

How do they knock out 3 people in a heads up match?

I played on 888, I tuck my time thinking that it was on a knock out basses and that round 2 would start when all first round matches ad ended. It tuck about 15 min for my first game. Then my next opponent had about 6000 in chips, when I asked him about it he said that he already had 2 games and this was is third. So looked in the lobby to find out that I was in last place,

???

As and when matches ended you started another game straight away, with the blinds keep on going up. So I was playing it steady not realising this, if I new about it I would have played differently

on stars its a straight forward knock out

round 1 some people will get a bye so that no future byes are needed

round 1 start with 2500 round 2 everyone gets 5000 even if you got a bye in round 1

round 2 doesnt start untill eveyone has finished round 1

I missed that post, yes the structure is incredibly straightforward as Ironside points out.
