Only 2 runners contested last night"s satellite in the end, meaning they could go all-in first hand and claim a seat each! mbn.

Tonight"s satellite starts at 7.30pm. So far zero runners, with a minimum of 2 required. Again, we have 2 seats guaranteed!.

Have you tried Support? I"m unable to log into the instant play feature at all to check myself unfortunately.

Couple of thngs to check: Make sure you"re logged in properly (tourneys don"t show until you"ve done that), and that you don"t have any filters selected.

Just less than 1 hour left of late reg.

Find the game under Coral Exclusive > APAT in the APAT/Coral poker client. If you don"t already have the poker client, download from here: http://www.apat.com/online

Password: apatmemb

A couple of members have PMed me to ask where to find the game now it"s running and is in the late registration period. The answer is simple: In the same place! :) (make sure you don"t have any strange filters turned on).

Schedule

DateTimeBuyin  Starting StackLevels (Min)
Sun 14 Sept 2014   18:00 (late reg until 20:00)English Online Main Event   £20 + £2   1000012

Are you using the PC client? Did you try restarting the software? Or navigating to the game lobby and double clicking your name to load the table manually? Either/both should work...

If you did the same, but instead loaded the table that you were on, then that should have fixed the problem. Glad you are on now. Good luck!.

Virgin media, in Teesside.

iPoker does this so much and tbh I had all but sworn not to play there again, even though it meant not playing DTD and Genting sats

Have uninstalled and reinstalling now during break. Coral support are investigating for me

There does seem to be an issue with Virgin Media and iPoker. There"s pages and pages on Google of people reporting similar problems. Weirdly, other ISPs seem to be fine. Of no help to you I realise :(

Sigh - am off to research the issue

At least support gave me a refund as a "goodwill gesture"

I finally managed to stay connected long enough to call off my last 4BB with Q10, up against A2, flop A34, turn 5...

Seems most of the google results for "iPoker problems virgin media" are a mix of people moaning about disconnects from iPoker and others recommending Virgin

The theme of people having disconnection problems is pretty common, and although I may well be the only one tonight, it feels like it was just my turn.

On another subject entirely, why on earth are playing these two totally different formats at the same time?

Surely we can find another day for the side events????

It must be a nightmare for someone with just one screen, particularly if their eyesight is anything other than 20/20.

Please change it asap.

This was discussed to death at the start of the season. I suggested the side event should be on a different day. However, the majority were of the view that they should be the same night. Maybe something to look at again for next season.

Me and the other half played last night. I didn"t have any problems at all, she on the other hand struggled to stay connected for more than 5 minutes. Our isp is Sky.....

Seemed to fix itself after about an hour but by then she"d missed so many hands she"d lost the will to live! lol

Yes both on wireless connection, no idea what caused it.

I have had issues with ipoker before so it must just be luck of the draw.

Like i said i was connected without an issue the whole night so it can"t be our ISP.

I poker has been problematic for a long time.

It"s not that long ago, after their IT department had struggled for over a year to resolve the long running " re sizeable tables issue" ( they were practically the only site not offering resizeable tables )

Embarrassingly some kid built a solution in his bedroom and sold it as an external program ;D

There is a long standing thread HERE (http://www.irishpokerboards.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13213&page=49/) that has been running since early 2012.

It is widely accepted that there is a bug in the software that kicks people off the network and sometimes won"t allow logging back on as the system still thinks you are connected to your previous session.

The ipoker support response has always been to blatantly assert that the problem is at user end.

I disagree with my curly friend on this one... Same night works best IMHO.
The rare fact that PLO8 was the side event rather than PLO makes it harder I admit (especially for the over 50s ;)) but it"s better than 2 whole nights which would reduce the field I suspect. I would have a full hour between start times though

Aye, from when this was discussed heavily pre-season, the clear favourite seemed to be to have both events on the same night. I was initially, like Curlarge, of the view that 2 seperate nights would be better, but happy to be go with the majority.

I would have a full hour between start times though

Interesting point. With the PLO HL over quite some time before the NLHE, I think we probably could delay the start of the Side Event by another 30 minutes. This would give 1 hour between the Main and Side starting.

OR.... run the side event with 12 min blinds, same as main event. Despite starting 30 minutes later, it didn"t feel like too long before the PLO tourney caught up with the Holdem tourney.

lol, apologies! :) I realise now that I posted "please allow 24 hours for delivery"!! :D

What I should have said is "please allow 28 days for delivery"!

Apologies for confusion. Medals can take up to 4 weeks to arrive, but are usually quicker (not quite as quick as 24 hours though!).
