Never used a HUD or any of the many training sites/coaches out there.
Looking for guidance from people who have before i go off and spend $$$
Will be for small / mid stakes NLHE MTTs

HUD is a must have tool for any serious player even if its just to analyse your own game.
Training sites are much more affordable now, www.runitonce.com (https://www.runitonce.com/register/plans-and-pricing/) is $10/month for the basic package, www.tournamentpokeredge.com (http://http://www.tournamentpokeredge.com/plans/) has more MTT content which is reflected in their $30/month fee.
These are good value only if you put in the hours and simultaneously put in the volume so as to perfect implementing the concepts you learn.

I would be genuinely interested to hear the justification for my last post being censored/deleted in this thread... ::)

There"s no notification of a post removal within the automated moderation log Ian, nor is there a post on the deleted posts board, so it may be that it didn"t physically post?

Thanks for the info. Do you use a HUD? If so which one?

Thanks Des. It"s taking 30-40 secs for each page to load at the moment so maybe my post timed out or something ?

Hi Kev,
I use HoldemManager for my HUD. I have used poker tracker in the past, but prefer HoldemManager for ease of use.
I primarily use it for trends on certain players and gives me extra info to help me to decide in tricky spots. I use it for SNG"s, MTT"s and cash. I choose my own display and pretty much have decided what stats are strategically important for me to have on the HUD. There are some good YouTube vids discussing setting up and using a HUD.
I don"t really use it at all for analysing my own play, but sure there are some on here who do and can advise.

What did you post Ian?
Intrigued now :)

I use HM2, the stats I find most useful........
- Preflop raise
- VPIP, specifically the ratio of limp versus raise
- Attempt to steal
- Stack size in BB"s
- cbet
- fold to cbet
Stack size in BB"s is the largest font size on my HUD, I find it invaluable to be able to quickly see this number and consider it the single most important strategic consideration.

Another vote for Holdem Manager 2.
Had a subscription to Runitonce and can"t say I was that impressed. Since signed up for Duecescracked, mainly for Seblst"s tournamentality series, I prefer it to RIO but haven"t used it for a while.
