Might be able to squeeze an APAT weekend in before heading stateside.

Blatant "I"m going to Vegas" brag....but it"ll be good to see you.
I"ve just tried to book at room at the Ricoh and they have two conferences on and all rooms are fully sold out already, so none of us APATers will be able to stay there on Saturday 30th.
This is not good news!!!

That"s not good.
Surely the casino would have thought to check that when in discussions with Tom ?
There are a number of other hotel options, but I know a lot of players liked being able to stagger to their rooms from the bar after a long dayplaying pokersocialising ;)
And for what it"s worth, for those looking to stay on a budget, the Ibis Coventry South (http://www.ibis.com/gb/hotel-2094-ibis-coventry-south/index.shtml) is about £40 a night that weekend.
Nothing special obviously, but it works and it cheap. 15 min drive/taxi to the Ricoh, so guess that might be a problem for those without cars or who want to have a drink, but it"s an option.
I just booked 3 nights at Dayes Inn Chorley, for £129 via booking.com, which is fully amendable and can be cancelled up until 12pm on 29th May which is the day of arrival. £43/night sounds like a decent deal. only 10 minute drive from casino.

I"ve booked the Premier Inn M6/J2 for 3 nights, £126 all in. Ger too.
As an alternative, the Premier Inn Nuneaton/Coventry is about the same distance from the Ricoh (4.5m / 10mins) and is only £39 a night for each of Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Novotel (by Junction 3), usually the reserve hotel, also fully booked. Premier in by Junction 2 is £126 for 3 nights. Anybody have any better suggestions as that is quite a way away. Dayes Hotel which is also about a 10 min drive away is £150.

If you listen on the wind you can hear the bar manger at Coventry breathing and big sigh of relief

You"re wrong there...you can hear the bar manager weeping at all the lost revenue from all of Emma"s cocktails.

For anyone wanting to play the normal Friday night comp it starts at 7.30pm and is £20 +£5 Total Freezeout (No re-buys, re-entries or Add ons) the clock is 20 mins throughout and it"s 25k starting stack and 2.5k early reg bonus if in before the start.
So with the added APAT cash game is should be very active on Friday night.

I"ll be in the pub ...either the Mount Pleasant near the Premier Inn...or perhaps, if the weather is nice.. The Greyhound Inn (http://www.greyhoundinn.org/)...I"ll drive.(http://www.greyhoundinn.org/apitu.JPG)

I dunno I bet it was a good one though.
What time are people arriving in Coventry anyway? That pub looks a bit good btw

With a bit of luck I should be there for 4.30 (perhaps a little earlier of i can get away from work sharpish).
That pub [The Greyhound Inn] is a few miles away from the hotel (a 10 minute drive according to Google Maps (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/The+Greyhound+Inn/@52.457189,-1.469318,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x2bbe0f9466ed2ef)) but the Mount Pleasant (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Mount+Pleasant/@52.4294148,-1.4378611,16z/data=!4m6!1m3!3m2!1s0x0:0x2bbe0f9466ed2ef!2sThe+Greyhound+Inn!3m1!1s0x0000000000000000:0xd2424e4017d37dbc) is just a few minutes walk from the PI...not that I"ll be walking it.
Yes .
Hitting the PI @ 2pm. I presume there is a bar next door

Well, sort of...it"s a Taybarns (http://www.taybarns.com/location-finder/coventry.html)...the down-market buffet type place.
I think the Mount Pleasant...it"s closer and although the Greyhound looks nice it is a few miles away.
Easier for everyone I think.
Why has the holding tank on the Coral Poker Client been closed? Seems a bit silly when there are still seats available!
Hi guys..making a comeback, it"s been a while!
Quick question, can you just show your reserve ticket on your phone or do you have to print it out?
What"s the cash buy-in, blinds and number of re-buy"s? Is it the top 8 cash values that get to the final table?
