Title: 2008 WSOP on TV Tonight
Post by: APAT on August 09, 2008, 22:37:24 PM
Not sure if it has been mentioned elsewhere, but the 2008 WSOP starts on the ESPN Classic channel tonight at 11pm with the $10k PLHE event.  The second part follows at midnight and both are shown again next Thursday evening at the same times.  Assume the second event is shown next Saturday night.

Guy"s if your really interested -

10k PLH, $1500 NLHE (not sure which event) and the NL/Limit 5k are allready on pokertube.

They have them on there about 2-3 weeks prior to ESPN classic!

I saw the first half of the $10k on PT, and while I don"t know about you guys, when I"m at my PC I"m always multi-tasking, so it was good to see the game on the big screen last night.  I"ll be side stepping PT for the remainder of the series and using Sky+ to watch on TV when I have free time.  I think we can assume that ESPN Classic will be offering the November Nine final at the end of the series.

I don"t like assuming but I"m certainly hoping so ... ! Very shortly after it"s played I hope.

Anyone got any bets on it? I see BlueSq are offering odds - see here (http://www.bluesq.com/bet?action=go_events&type_id=921)
