And we have our first exit!
Player under the gun plus one, Llyr Jones, raises pre flop with Kc Kh and gets one caller, Harry Zammit, holding 9s 10s.
Flop comes 9c 8c 7h
There is a bet from the and a call.
We see a 9h turn and the betting goes wild, ending with an all in and a call.
The Qs on the river makes no difference and we lose our first player - LLyr Jones.
-
One more bites the dust, no details but we have lost Shehbaz Hussain.
-
Another exit sees Kevin Kent make a good addition to his stack courtesy of Terrance Clayton:
Kev has Ace King (suits unknown)
Terrance has King 10
The flop comes Kd Js 6h (suits are a guess...)
Kev makes a bet and Terrance pushes all in for his last approximately 5k...Kev happily calls and the turn and river make no difference and Terrance hits the rail leaving Kev with a significantly boosted stack.
-
This makes Stuart Ward very unhappy...he would like it to be noted that he WAS chip leader of this tournament for a very brief period of time following a tangle earlier on having flopped a set against an over pair...
Noted, Stu.
-
We have some very sad news here at APAT Manchester...
Asa Mcgrath is sat next to me...
Down to 8k he faces a small raise and holding Ad Ah re raises to 550 and gets FOUR callers.
The flop bring us an Ac 10c 5c
Asa is happy days and checks.
One of the callers makes it 1100 to go and is then re raised to 3300 by the player in seat 10. This is called by seat 2 and Asa pushes all in.
This move sees the player in seat ten re shove all in also and the rest folded.
Seat 10 turns over 7c 8c and their is no help for Asa through the turn or river.
And Newcastle are winning at the football...apparently this makes it worse...

Table 10 seems to be having a flurry of destruction and Michael Naughton is sent to the rail.

Anyone watching the stream, can you let me know if it"s buffering or not? I understand that the board cards aren"t visible but we can address that with some commentary, if the stream is otherwise stable?
Cheers.
-
Good luck to all heroes..
Unlucky Asa nasty exit :(
Lucy your mission is to pronounce table 8 seat 10s name when you visit new time :D

Picture quality is A1 and stable, as you say, just needs a commentator.

Two more exits:

Things are not looking good for our 2014 European Championship Runner Up, Bill Sheppard.
Holding Kc Kd there is a fair amount of action pre flop.
The flop brings 10h 10s blank.
A player to his left pushes all in and Bill "snap called" and was wounded to see his opponent turn over Ah A s
No help on the turn or river and Bill is left with less than 2k.
Chip and a chair...anything can happen.
-
Players are now on a break and some notable chip counts will soon arrive, feel free to ask and we will do our best.
Last exit before the break is Mark Physick.
-
Ger is free...
Comedy genius :D

-
Couple of post break departures to report....Kimberley Barnard and David Wade, both out.

Definitely no re-entries Suz....Shehbaz"s entry and exit really were that close together!
-
Maimunah Maqbool has been eliminated.
As had Daniel Thursfield in painful fashion - "I had aces, do I need to say more?" Ac Ah not good enough to combat 4c 4d with a 4s on the flop...very unlucky.

We have just been informed that Bill Sheppard is now back up to a healthy approximately 15k thanks to an initial bit of luck and then a flurry of good hands that held up.
His statement of joy? "I have a big enough stack to now feel comfortable to go to the toilet"...it"s the little things, ey?
-
Bryan Hepworth, just gone.

News of the Stockton duo please.
OK, the Acklam One, and the Yarm Singleton.
Also, how"s Rodders getting on? I"d have asked about Ger but I gather that is unnecessary from Stu"s suggestion that he could commentate
-
Jason Mcburnie just out.

Any chance of chip counts for Lee Barrett, Andy Young and Barry Simpson when you get a chance please ?

A big shout out to Keith "the Godfather" Singleton on table 2. He says that nobody loves him enough to cheer him on.
Go on Keith !!

Paul Williams
-
Another few exits for you:
Nicholas Withenshaw
Derek Watson
-
Everyone loves a good Stuart Ward rant...he has just removed himself from the table for a breather before composing himself to return...
Stu has A s Ah and raises to around 3k before the flop. He got 2 callers.
The flop comes down 3s 5c 6s
Stu bets another 3k and one of the callers moves all in for 18k.
The other caller folds and Stu smiles, strokes his thighs and says "Merry Birthday to me! Call"
His opponent turns over Ad 6h, Stu is doing a little jig now, happy days.
The turn is 4s giving Stu even more reason to hitch up his skirt and have a dance as this gives him the nut flush draw just in case.
The river...
-
is
7c
and they split the pot!
This obviously tilts the life out of Stu and caused him to spit a few feathers "There is only one word for how that felt... TILT!!"
However, he is still on a very healthy 30k+ so, he will get over it!
-
Could you confirm that Dan Dennehy is still in please, I"ve not seen that he"s been knocked out. Thanks.

This weekend is having the feel of an old style APAT which is cool. I do like this casino and the game is really good, fun table but very tough with Matt Carter, Simon Brooke and Craig Dawson all here. I have luck boxed a chip stack of about 45k which is helping me against the afore mentioned heros (and I will take all the help I can get at this table lol).
Really good weekend so far, thanks to Des and Lucy for this one. Good to see Stu back at APAT putting the whole world on tilt.

Thanks Steve, I"m really enjoying it so far also.
What Des said :) xxx

Lots of other APAT main event winners still in the event...from memory:
Brian Yates
Barry Simpson
John Murray
Warren Jones
-
A few exits:
Jennifer Hindle
Alex Montgomery
Glen Healy
James Crawford
The players are now on their 45 minute dinner break meaning that play will resume at 20:45. They will come back to blinds at 300/600 and an ante of 100.
Hopefully they will come back feeling full and refreshed, ready to continue the grind.

Counts from a few of our long term campaigners....
Paulie Davis 1.6m
I wish... 18k is more like it.
If I was on 1.6m I"d have 75% of the chips in play and would be in the bar getting blinded out to Day 2.
-
John Murray has just handed me his seat card, he went out before the break.
He made a stand against and aggressive player with Ah 3c and ran into him holding Ac A s...aces are making quite a name for themselves as is the norm.

Haha, when I walked by you were dragging in a pot, so I didn"t get your count. Thought I"d be creative to see whether anyone was reading.... :)

Went to bar, got myself 2 pints as the valet has gone missing... Rodders found a valet and got me a pint.
Now have 57K in chips and 3 pints.
This may not end well.
-
From a glance around the room, all the players seem pretty evenly stacked give or take a few.
There only appeared to be two noticeably large stacks, both around 130k
Joshua Sam Lonsdale
Jacob Anderson
Still a very long way to go and chips can change hands at pace...

We have just lost Laura Rhoden. After spending the last five minutes listening to her ranting, it transpires that the lack of "pop" ordering and the amount of "soda water with ice and a dash of fresh lime" may have tilted her to her demise!! Apparently, it isn"t the none alcoholic nature of these drinks, it is the fussy nature of them...
Another great Laura Rhoden quote for the books - "just gerra snakebite and be "appy"
