Welcome to the UK Amateur Poker Championship Day 1 here in Aspers Casino, Newcastle, where Lucy Amos will be providing live updates throughout the event.
The dynamic duo of Des Duffy and Leigh Wiltshire will be "playing together" with a live stream trial over the weekend, which we expect to see start after the first break.

Just to note, David Amos (Pokerpops) has more than doubled his 15k starting stack with the help of Aces twice - once against Kings, and a turned full house with pocket 4"s.
