Title: Season 2 Finale Approaching - Provisional Rankings

After the World Championships at the Vic the top 19 ranked players were still in contention.

With the provisional results of the Omaha in, the top of the rankings (on a provisional basis) is as follows:

Which means that provisionally from the beginning of the NLHE 6-Max tournament - anybody in the top 15 can still win.

Good luck everyone!  I think this is going to be decided over the coming weekend and we might even finish requiring a playoff, as we did in Season One.

And provisionally speaking, we are provisionally down to the last 10 in the 6 handed tournament and I can provisionally say that no one from provisional list above has provisionally made the final ten in the 6 handed tournament.  On that basis, the provisional table above is provisionally unaltered, although some players may be provisionally added once the provisional points are calculated from tonights tourney.

This is all provisional mind you, don"t take my word for it.

Hang on, word has just reached me that Ferrari and the FIA have launched a stewards enquiry about the Omaha result  ;)

too kind daniel although not much chance now with no points last night !
And stud to go which is by far my weakest and need at least 3 points in it !

Am I right in thinking the points structure for the main event saturday is like a live national rather than an online event i.e. 18 for 1st down to 1 for 18th?

No, there are 9 points available to the winner of the main event Simon.

Thanks for clarifying that Des. That means I"ll be in the stud event tomorrow, because thats my game these days, but I"ll be sidestepping the main event due to the points gap between myself and the rankings leaders. I"ll just have to win season three now..........................
