Thanks to Des for allowing..
As most of you know Rebecca Redfern daughter of our very own Steve Redfern has amazingly broken the world record in her swimming class. This means she will very likely be on a plane to represent Britain at the Paralympic Games Rio in September.
Although Rebecca is funded for the trip sadly Steve isn"t.. The cost of flights, accomadation, food etc will probably mean Steve would have to spend £4,000+ to travel out and support Rebecca, something that just isn"t financially viable.
This got me thinking, I would be totally distraught if one of my own children had achieved similar and I had to miss out in their dream. So I decided to set up a donation page where people could show their support and donate if they so wished.

We have had a tremendous start and after only three days managed to raise £580!! a amazing response from mostly people who know Steve via APAT/ FB.
Thought I would perhaps also post here for those who do not use FB so you where aware and did want to donate then you could.
