Title: Anyone going to the Sky Poker Tour event at DTD tomorrow?
Post by: kinboshi on September 12, 2008, 14:48:22 PM
If so, will you be passing J10 of the M42 (just north of Brum) on your way and be able to give me a lift?

Long shot I know...

I"ll be going Daniel.  PM me a pick up postcode and I"ll let you know later tonight whether I can make it. (Should be able to though).

You are a leg end.

Not very nice!! The guy offers you a lift, and you call him a foot!

Well he is our ruler, and a ruler is 12" long - so he is a foot...

(I"ll get my coat)

I"ve had a bad week.

I didn"t think it could get any worse.

I was wrong.

A mate of mines playing in it but I forgot to try qualify in time and it filled up - Sky Poker has got to be the worst software i"ve ever played though so kinda put me off trying... Can"t offer a lift but best of luck if you do make it down!

I think you will find it has improved a great deal recently Chris.

I"m going to challenge you to say something more positive about Blue Square and Sky Poker before season three starts  ;)

I would normally have agreed with Crizzy but I"ve heard that the software has been upgraded and that it IS now very good. I"ve yet to try it myself - hopefully soon.

I thought qualification was by on-line tourney only via sky poker, except for the live sattalite they held at DTD a week or so back for 20 seats.Daniel?

So you have to qualify for it on Sky and not buy in direct?  And it is now full?

Des - can you confirm - hate to travel all the way to Nottingham and only be able to visit the mother-in-law without being able to play poker  ;D

Hi Linda...qualification was via Sky Poker and a live satellite at DTD.  I believe there might be a couple of seats free through late withdrawals, for players with a Sky Poker account - but they will probably be allocated on a first come first served basis from midday.  I will not be there until 12.30pm - 1pm.  Look forward to seeing you there if you go for it.
