Title: Ryder Cup 2008
Post by: lukybugur on September 19, 2008, 09:30:14 AM
I don"t know about y"all but I"m SOOOO lookin forward to watchin the Ryder Cup. Given that the odds are almost Even tho I was looking for some attractive bets to make it even more exciting and was wondering if anyone had found anything worthwhile?

I"m heading over to BlueSq now to see what the odds are for Europe 3 USA 1 after this morning"s Foursomes - two wins for Europe and two half matches.

COME ON EUROPE!!!

Glad I"m not the only one looking forward to this, I have to admit to having a bad feeling about this one though......

Hey Ian. A weekend of sitting with my laptop at my mates" house with my fave Poker Forums and live betting sites running, watchin it all in HD, and playing a Ryder Cup tourney on my home course with 7 of my mates on Sunday morning against a "young team" (sad, I"m in "old team" at 31 :( ) - it doesn"t get better than this!!

My money (so far) is on;

Anthony Kim to be USA"s leading scorer at 6.8/1

JB Holmes to be in the top 3 of USA"s scorers at 13/2

Perry / Furyk v Westwood / Garcia to Half Day 1 Foursomes (morning) Match 8/1

Now that sounds like a great weekend. I"ll not be doing any betting (I"m not a gambler), but I will be enjoying the coverage whatever the result - I"ve got the tv to myself as Caz is staying at her parents this weekend.

$500 profit target for one day? What levels you playing at and cash or tournies?

I"m up about $50 for the week had two decent cashes $300+ in APAT WCOAP Online and $180 in a pokerstars Omaha cash game but then lost it all on pokerstars over last two days with some horribly bad beats but oh well...

Oh aye, and I can"t seem to get excited about watching golf on tv... I might try watch some this weekend. I like playing and used to play a fair bit but never ever got into watching it... maybe a bet would make it better, lol.

I love the Ryder Cup but can"t be a***d listening to that crowd with their unimaginative and annoying U-S-A U-S-A U-S-A and every single shot followed by GER IN THE HOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLE. I"ll no doubt watch the final day singles climax though as it"s all about the drama. I suspect they"re only going to need about 3 points from the singles to win it TBH, and I"m not too concerned about that either coz Faldo"s an arrogant ****    >:(

that"s my rant for the day  :D :D

I had USA to win 16-12 at 14/1... it"s just like being rivered by a 1-outer on iPoker!

Live Golf is rigged!!!  >:(
