We are currently in the process of switching up our daily Step 3 (9pm) satellites to WCOAP Main Events tickets (£110).
At the same time, we are going to revert to running them on two days per week (tbc) with 1 x £110 ticket guaranteed.
Players will still be able to step satellite through using the Grosvenor Live generic satellites that run on the hour and half hour, so you can still qualify for the WCOAP from just 25p.
Whilst going through this process, it got me thinking to whether we should/could be offering a more "package" style super satellite. Say £330 (1xMain event seat + 4xSide Event Seats), with a £30 buyin.
For anyone that has been with APAT for a while, you"ll know that we don"t really do guarantees. We"ve just never needed to, as the events and tournaments we run for our members, along with the added value offered by our season sponsors pretty much speaks for themselves.
This year we"ve guaranteed Destination Vegas Packages both live and online. Unfortunately, the online ones have cost us with some overlays. Overlays aren"t good for anyone. Perhaps in the short term to those players that played, but APAT has always worked on giving as much back to players as we can through the added value seats and promotions, or even reg free tourneys and free buffets back in the earlier years.
So, as is always the case with APAT, I"m after some feedback. And you know that we listen.
Would there be an interest in alternative satellite qualification for the WCOAP, or would a twice weekly £30 into a £110 seat freezeout satellite serve the majority well ?

Can we also have some £10/£15 into £55/£56/£60 please

I think that we could run £10+£1 sats into side events, maybe even £5 rebuys, so players could step from 25p ?
Would probably make sense just to pay out in cash bundles of £60, so players can buyin to whichever side they like. Otherwise we"d have to create different token values online.
