Hi Guys,
I have just registered with this site and am around 6months old to the poker scene... a regular on sky poker which is where I have learnt to develop my game...
Just a few queries...
I have had a quick read through the sites pages... how can you enter into the amateur tournament... and what other benefits can you get from being a member...?
Hope to see you on the tables soon...!

Welcome Apple.
You"ll be more than welcome to register and play in any of our Online or Live Amateur Tournaments in S3 (a full schedule is likely to be announced in Nov / Dec) through the various means.
Keep checking the Forum here - the more you put in, the more you"ll get out. Especially if you run into me at the tables, I"m dead money! :)

As Neil has said, welcome to APAT.
Once the season 3 schedule has been announced you"ll find, as with season 2, that there will be 3 methods of securing seats to the live events:-
1. Online satellites
2. Regional satellites
3. Direct buy in via a link on the web site (affectionally known as the "clickfest")
If you"re an online player and can"t wait to join in the fun, plans are afoot for a possible close season (Nov/Dec) online series on Blue Square. Details of which should be available shortly.
Hope you enjoy all your APAT experiences yet to come.

Hello Applemac and welcome to the Apat family you will enjoy it for sure!

Sounds great, so season 3 is just around the corner...! I take is all announcements and updates are posted on the forum... and in regards to online events would this be posted on the forums also and the you would need to register with the associated website...?
I have played a few live events in gala casino in Bristol... and have really enjoyed the experience... so regional tournaments is one of the events I am especially looking forward to...!
Once I accustom myself to the site I am sure I will get used to how it is run...
Thanks guys...!

The forum is the place where most new information is posted first, so it"s wise to regularly check here.
The online events are run on Blue Square, so that would be the software you"d require to join in with these events - I think there"s a link on the APAT home page to the Blue Square site to enable you to download the necessary software.
...and don"t forget to tell people about yourself at http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?board=13.0 ;D
