Hey Noble , you a Blue Nose? Or just slagging the hammers. I am a season ticket holder at the School of Science, and have been since the days of Harry Catterick, Alan Ball, Joe Royle et al.
Come on you Blues !!
Its all changed since Moysey signed his new contract.

Great post. I"m a toffee too! My cousin is Alan Irvine (a player early - late 80s and Asst Manager for a few years, now Manager at PNE) so as a kid I used to get autographs etc.

As a kid it used to be great telling folk this, especially around 84/85. Andy Gray, Southall, Ratcliffe, Heath, Steven, Sharp and Lineker FTW!

Alan Ball was my first footballing hero, and I cried when he was transferred to Arsenal. When I was a kid Martin Dobson came to our house, how cool was that!!
Bob Latchford was a goal machine, and then came The lineker era, when if it hadn"t been for Heysel and the following ban we could have been a major European force. The andy King goal will never be forgotten or the after match report, when a steward told him and the interviewer to get off the pitch!
Was at the FA Cup semi final v West Ham at ellend rd, and sat on the terraces in tears when Frank Lampard seniors shot looked like it was going wide and then crept wide of David Lawson, gutted.
But had some great highs watching the Blues and still get goose bumps when they run out to Z cars, once a blue always a blue..... except if your names Rooney.

Great video Neil. My two brothers went to the Cup Winners Cup final in Rotterdam, I couldn,t go cos I was working, they had a ball, and still talk about it now! Alan Irvine for a cousin thats handy for freebies! I think we missed hin when he left, but fingers crossed we are back on track now.

Alan Irvine was a fine player and coach.Finishing fourth in the league was in hindsight a great achievement when you consider the monopoly/financial advantage that the current 4 have and says a lot about Moyes and his coaching staff, the only team outside of it to do so.Nil Satis Nisi Optimum............
