Title: Walsall Casino Music ...
Post by: Honeybadg on February 10, 2009, 12:41:45 PM
... was it this that "killed the early action" ...

Big Retro trip for me back into the 80s ... did they really play something by the Human League!?!

Surely they should have been playing Slade ... to top things off ...

Congrats again on the victory. Music I have no recollection of there being music.... was I engrossed in the poker that much - or was the windbag on my table that loud, I am refering to the gentleman in the UKSharks shirt, but thats another story told in another thread. I had the "pleasure" of spending several hours on the same table.

Ah, those whimsical, almost helium inspired tones of Clare Grogan and Altered Images. Brings back memories.........

... helium ... that"s a drug right?

It"s a gas (He), atomic number 2, and is the second most abundant element in the universe after Hydrogen (H).

Breathing Helium makes your voice go all micky mousey  :D

She never actually specified who it was about, saying only that it was about aspects of 3 people in her life, Beatty being one of them.

... sorry mate I miss read that ... been starring at the screen too long ...

The brain does not compete can"t and not very well ... it is why people get into trouble ...

The funny thing is I really had to think hard to remember the answer!

Aside - I am shorted listed for the dubiously named "A Question of Genius" quiz show soon to be filmed for BBC!

Not sure I want on it given current state of brain ...

Go on ask another!

... louder would have made me laugh ... so fair play.

Think of the things they missed though ...

Reflex - Duran Duran
Nena - 99 Red Balloons
Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart ...
