Just found this on Titan..... Remember the maximum buyin at a .10/.20 is $20.....

I"ve been up over $100 on these tables a couple of times, but that is rare.... to have so many players so high is something I"ve never seen before, and to have one at $270 is amazing!!

Not brave enough to sit down there then Steve ... ?
-
That is weird.
You"d have thought that if you saw a table with 4 people over the maximum buy in you wouldn"t sit down - but obv. people were doing so.
-
I added my name to the waiting list in 26th place!! By the time I finished playing an hour later, I was all the way up to 11th on the list.

Why?
You"re going to sit down as one of the short stacks (albeit with plenty of play available).
And given that these players have accumulated chips as they have done - doesn"t this suggest that they know what they"re doing? (albeit with the possibility that they"ve managed to attract a succession of fish previously)
Wouldn"t it be better to just find an easier table?

the PF% was 72%!! I can"t ignore that, no matter how big the stacks are. Just have to be careful about making too many moves with poor holdings.... but fast playing big hands is almost always go get a payoff here.

but tables like that are likely to be a source of money. Its unlikely to be a nitfest and if you build your stack you could have good implied odds agaist players who may be overconfident/loose and not care if they drop a buy-in on a marginal hand.
far better than a table full of shortstackers

Wow, never seen a table like that before! Did you eventually get sat down?

sadly not - the queue was huge

You want to sit at a table like that short-stacked. Always profitable. Sometimes.

if i saw a table like that, i would sit down..... its better to have everyone deep, as apposed to half and half. I hate it when there are hit and runner short stackers.....so annoying, the worst type of fish to come across.
