Title: New to APAT, Will be playing at aspers
Post by: IHASTHENUTS on September 03, 2007, 10:00:18 AM
Hi all,

Ive just signed up to this league and will be playing at aspers when its on in september, just wondering if anyone here is playing at this regeion?

On a side note, what do people think of the weekly freezeouts at aspers, is it possible to get a decent ROI considering the stack sizes and blind increases? Without some serious luck its pretty hard to take down, although ive taken it down before, i was damn lucky.

Ash.

Hello Ash and welcome to the APAT.

I have only played in Aspers the once and it was a very nice casino, so I really cant say about their comps.

Look forward to seeing you on the forum and at the events.

Jimmy

Not necessarily...APAT have a clause in their contract to allow them to play at ANY casino. They are not bound to Grosvenor. Or so I"m told :-)

Would have thought that might have more to do with playing in areas that dont have a Grosvenor like Dublin ?

What your saying sounds right Chris, shame, as I enjoyed Aspers a lot.

Ill be playing in the northern region this year.

Hopefully well have a structure and timetable sorted soon.  One thing I want to avoid from last year is the late notice for all events, I travel round Europe a lot with work and so really need firm timetables in order to fit events around my work.
