Title: Travel from West Mids to Edinburgh
Post by: Razor on June 22, 2009, 22:07:00 PM: looks like I have a couple of seats in my car available going from the Midlands on the Friday PM to Edinburgh.. Traveling back Sunday PM.

£100+ for petrol and around 14 hours round trip travel..... or £79 for air tickets, and an hour each way.

Thought about driving and sharing the fuel cost, but not sure about driving back starting around 9pm on Sunday night.

then subtract 14+ hours sitting on motorways, with half of that coming at the end of an exhausting weekend.....

Saturday morning through M5M6 junction - there"s an hour. then J14 to J19 - another hour or two of crawling.

Bmi baby flight charges,change daily just have to catch it right.
Single (£15.50)Virgin train tickets readly available,just ring the automated ticket line number. ;)
