Hello all,

I have been a reader of poker player magazine for a while and after becoming increasingly frustrated with the tournament structures at my local casino have joined in the hope of enjoying some deep stack poker at affordable prices!

My only concern is that I can imagine all tournaments are extremely popular and most likely sold out in minutes.

How do you register for the various tournies and is it easy to get a seat?

Hi James

Welcome to APAT

There is several was of playing, you can play the regional live games, I believe it is on a first come basis on the day. Top 10% qualify for the national live game. You can win your seat on BS or you can buy in directly and yes it is hard to get a seat. Keep an eye on the forum,

Good luck on trying to get a seat, there will be about 1000 people trying for 150 seats

so can i buy straight into the nationals or do you have to qualify on the regionals.

You can try to buy straight in to a National - but places are limited, so there"s no guarantee you will get a place.

I have checked out the seat allocation link and I see that some seats are available for sale on set dates. Are these online, over the phone or in person at the casino stated?

BTW should I receive a membership number or something as I only seem to have got forum access.

Ones that are available will be through a "click fest" online where the dates have been shown. As kin said there will only be limited places, so your not guaranteed a seat.

No membership number, just a member of the forum makes you a member of APAT.

Your Email address acts as your unique APAT registration ID.

Have you joined BlueSquare? That is where the online tourney will be held. Also, the registration will allow you to compete in further events which are up and coming.

Make sure you keep up to date on the Forum for all the latest APAT details, drop in now and again, tell us your poker stories, and non poker related stories. Tell us about yourself on the members page.
