The twelfth league matchday is now live for registration on Blue Square.  To find it, click through to the Tournaments / Specials  / APAT tab.  All games will start at 8pm sharp.

The password is leaguepl

The password will remain the same for the whole of the season.

Feel free to forward the password, but remember players must be signed up to a club before they play.  Club registration remains open for the whole of the season.

IF A NEW PLAYER HAS NOT REGISTERED FOR A CLUB ON THE FORUM, BY 8PM ON A MATCH DAY, THEY WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO EARN POINTS FOR THEIR CLUB IN THAT WEEK. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

If you have any questions, please post within your club thread on the forum and either myself or your Club Captain will aim to help.

Thanks Mike.  I hope I"m that switched on if I make 90.  Happy to discuss the tactical naivety of the Lions with me for 20 minutes and then he refused to go home until the tennis had finished.

Although, he did give a little thank you speech, but forgot most of what he wanted to say.  After stumbling about for words for a couple of minutes he just said, "Bloody damn annoying I can"t remember the words, because the punchline was a beauty"    ;D

As they say you have to win the races to win tournies. Short stack raises I push with  js jh called by  :as: qh and a  qs on the turn. Few hands later UTG raises I push with  ad1 kh called by  qh qs no help and out. I love poker sometimes. Win those two hands and I"m amongst the chipleaders.

Anyhow come on Sth London

Simon had got crippled in the last hand as the FT was merging together and was allin on his first hand at the FT playing for the antes.

He picks up 1 point for Bristol.

Out in 9th place is matt1966.

A raise from owston69 saw matt1966 shove allin.  The call was made.  Matt showed KJo whilst Dan had Qs Ts.

The flop brought two spades with the final one needed hitting on river to see Matt depart the final table.

He earns 2 points for Brighton.

I"m kinda guessing that with the minimum score of 27 points already bagged by you guys, 1st place is assured.  You are playing for personal points and cash.  Very well done.  From the cards all four of you have shown at the final table so far, Cardiff Poker Club appears to be one giant cardrack tonight.   ;D    Along with some very good play from you all, obviously.

I knew that champagne earlier was a very bad idea.

Mike, you are quite right.  The scenario is if South London went out next, Brighton would take 3rd spot on FT countback.

In a 3 way pot A3 v 77 v 55, a 5 on the river saw spudandjosh as good as triple up.

Paul earns 5 points for the triumphant Cardiff team.

Up against his rival spudandjosh, Mark"s 7"s were no match for Phil"s pocket tens.

Mark gets 6 points for Bristol and they now must hope spudandjosh is next to exit to improve on a 3rd place finish.

Firstly, more than one player is useful John.

After that, you want to get those more than one players onto the final table.

The season started so promising.  Doesn"t help with your skipper in Vegas at the moment though.
