Looking for a seat to the WCOAP Omaha event and one for the Main Event also.
I"m posting this request on behalf of a friend of mine, Gordon Casey (Timmayy54).
If you have a seat available please post here, PM me or send an e-mail to chris@typicalstereo.co.uk - we will definitely 100% take any seat you have off your hands and can pay immediately via Pokerstars or Full Tilt, or also via Postal Order/Cheque/Bank Transfer if that suits better.
Don"t all rush at once :D
On a side not: any APAT mods who read this - will there be alternates allowed into the Omaha event?

^^ :) ^^

On the alternates question, I would imagine yes would be the answer, although with it being Pot Limit, not sure exactly how many we would lose in the first two levels.

Exactly, i"ve never played a live tourney but if you had two tournaments online with exact same number of runners the PLO one finishes in a considerably less amount of time. Due to it being so drawy and people sticking it in with multiple draws and hitting/missing the numbers drop a lot faster than you"d think...

The attrition rate in online comps is shocking, however, I believe there will not be the same level of carnage at the WCOAP event.

Also, most of the players at the lower limit buyins online tend to be "Monkeys" and their playing any 4 cards helps speed up the slaughter.
I am assuming most APAT players will be more skilled than that and provide a good game.
Thinking "Primates"...

I wouldn"t like to assume, one can only hope :D

An absolutely valid point now you mention it Squire.
Fingers firmly crossed.

Oh dear, afraid there may be one to pull down the skill average if he busts out the main event -
"Finally I"ve made an APAT final table!!! And ironically it came in Omaha which is categorically my worst discipline, and was only played last night for a bit of a laugh.
Started FT second in chips and feeling invincible..... I clearly didn"t learn when Linda"s KK brought about her demise as two hands later it was KK that I died on. At least I can claim to have got my chips in whilst ahead - but sadly I was up against a pretty strong drawing hand that hit."
