Hi all
If I get the train to Edinburgh and arrive at the Main central station near Princess street (I believe this is haymarket, can someone confirm) then what is the best way to get to the casino? Is the new tram system up and running and does it go past / near the casino or will i simply have to jump in a taxi?

Hi,
If you get off at Haymarket, (which isn"t the main, Waverley is, Haymarket is the stop just before it) and walk up the steps outside, there is a taxi rank right in front of you, wont cost much at all to get along to the casino.
Tram system isnt up and running yet.

As an Edinburgh taxi driver I"d recommend a taxi. From haymarket your looking to pay about £8 to a tenner
Waverley is about £14
Don"t know what buses run their

From outside Waverley or Haymarket station.............No 31 bus and ask for a shout at the Marriott hotel. £1.20. About 15 mins from Haymarket, 25 from Waverley.
You can"t miss seeing the Casino right across from the hotel.
Edinburgh bus service is actually pretty good, even if they are cutting some services.
If you are travelling from down south most trains terminate at Waverley and don"t go on to Haymarket.
If travelling from North then Haymarket is the stop.
