Tighty - has this turned into a real crap shoot?
Seems as if some of these calling hands for the all in"s are, well, more than marginal to say the least.
Is everyone having an average of around 8 BB"s????
p.s. Incase you didnt know Westwood clear by 2 and Goose in 3rd at moment ;)

the structure is fine but 30% of the chips were in one stack. Leaves a lot of the others quite short, and play on the bubble is short handed so the blinds eat you up unless you push once a round

This is a very special final table. A railbird informs me that seats 3,5 and 6 are wearing white socks
Standards are slipping, unless its a Michael Jackson tribute of course. I personally would never wear white socks, the prospect that I may subsequently be persuaded to do exercise makes me quite fearful. I will stick with Marks and Spencer black socks please.

So what you are saying Ger is that Mary was on her phone to update you when the "incident" happened and therefore indirectly you were responsible! I think you should buy us all a drink at the next event as compensation ;D
Well played Derek - looks like I fired you up when I ran my 4c :2c: into your td tc early on and you doubled me up ;D
You were playing a really solid game on table 6, and didn"t seem to put a foot wrong.
Well done and congratulations
BTW Brian and Steve, i ended up in a Jazz club until 3:30a.m.
Looks like only myself and Forththistle picked a medal winner.....

After the thread with the "3 players who will make final" comp was deleted, Tighty made it a "pick 1 of the last 25 to win a medal".
Davy and I picked George Dickson. Can"t find the post about the comp now, but the winner gets a seat at the English Amatuer champ without going thru" the clickfest.
Anyone find the original post?
That"s fine Neil, that post was made part way through the new day one thread. Let us know before the clickfest for the English event if you want to use your option.
Cheers,
Des.
