Do any locals know the liklihood of the rugby being on and watchable whilst playing?

Zedragon: It"s a really nice place, I"d go there just for the piss and sports t.v, without the poker.

Dunno what to think about getting there, I haven"t heard much of a stir about it and its not advertised on the cardroom program, so hopefully everyone who shows and wants to play will get a seat- even though the manager told me they expect to be turning people away.

The uncertainty of how many will attend, whether you"ll get a seat, if it"ll be self-deal has put me off. I think I"ll let them sort out the teething troubles and hopefully attend the rest. If it wasn"t for the lure of the rugby I would have probably chanced my arm though.

Rugby, etc is on TV.

The first regional events will be a bit unknown for all of us, and the only way to know what will happen is to go along and see. Sounds great if they have enough dealers and are running another event at the same time. Shouldn"t be a wasted journey for anyone.
