Good afternoon from DTD.

Is it that time already? Seems like I only just left. Oh, I did

Join me at 4.30pm for Day1b of the WCOAP Main Event

Whisper it, but a few of the flotsam and jetsam (Booder, Nakor, Lazaroonie notably) of poker players wending their way through the doors in front of me look a little worse for wear from last night"s festivities. Yet a long day"s play awaits for them.

My early prediction is 30 make it through today, by the way

Allan Deuchars stands to a sympathetic round of applause as he exits first on day 1b.  As Allan made his way off the tournament floor, cheeky grins started to break out all over the place from players delighted that his fate wasn"t theirs.

Great day yesterday Rich, DTD and APAT in symphony is something that we could only dream about a few short years ago and it is such a privilege to be a part of it.

Obviously playing is far more taxing than updating and making the whole thing work as I am too knackered to even play my favourite online PLO tourney tonight; I don"t know where you and Des get the energy from.

Please try and get as many as possible knocked out tonight except my horses Messrs. Nagi(200/1) and Russell(150/1), and my old blonde mates Laz, Boo, Nakor, Geo and Eck.

just to add for those at home. I didnt do my whole stack with QQ vs AA. I was down to 3500, after somehow losing a 20k pot earlier when my KK button raise was called by 45 on the blind. The flop was J45 and i somehow managed to get another 9k in without even seeing a turn. The river 5 sealed it. Played it poor but i"d raised 7 of 9 buttons when limped round so thought there was a chnce i was good until i was committed. Never mind. HORSE tomorro and i should win that. Only 48 plyers........

At 300-600 Matt Russell raises to 2,000 with 6-9. He says this is a mistake as he meant to raise to 1,400

What followed was comedy-tragedy, depending on who you are

Stephen Sass shoved for 5,200 total and suddenly Matt was priced in. With a grimace and an apology Matt called

Sass shows AK

Mat flops a Nine, and knocks him out

Russell 36,000

Leigh is nowhere to be seen. Slacker is correct. Fortunately I have an insatiable will to chip count and etablished that Byrne has 13,000

An update on this and to whet your appetites for the video report that should follow next week.  Leigh and I have spent the last hour rounding up some of DTD"s gorgeous valets, to record video intros with predictably unpredictable results.  You will laugh...

I"ve been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams I"ve kissed your lips a thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door

Any idea what happened to Ian burke?

he had around 6BB. UTG raises, Burkey is UTG+1 and shoves AQ. Folds to original raiser who calls with 33. First card out? 3.

And in other news - Go go Robyn Oneale!

Poker!

Charles Sanderson raises to 9,000 on the button..raising his fourth hand on the trot

Matt Russell makes it 26,000 on the small blind

Charles pushes

It is 83,000 more to Matt, most of his stack

He folds showing 7-3

Charles flips over Q-6 off!

Class stuff!

Was sat next to Neil who was real unlucky, he must have had some good raising hands, he must of been re-raised at least 5 times! 2 by me!

Enjoyed the tourney will be back! Respectable 61st in my first biggie!
