Sorry "bout that Derek, will mentally amend now......
-
The counts are copied directly from the DTD website John, so you"ll need to get them to change your first name on their system.
-
Flexibilty seems a little lacking at DTD as I did ask but they said it goes off my driving licence details. :-\
-
I"ll find a way to auto change it. GL tomorrow.
-
GL Derek ;D ;D ;D
-
good luck John :) this is your turn
-
Flexibilty seems a little lacking at DTD as I did ask but they said it goes off my driving licence details. :-\
Been trying for a year with DTD for them to knock the Richard off my name as I only use that for the tax man!!!
Have given up trying now. If you cash and you want to update hendon mob etc its a right pain.

Also good luck to Neil Dawson - you helped make table 11 a tough table before we were split and it"s no surprise that you made day 2 with a playable stack.
Thanks to DTD, Des, Tighty and the team for a great tourney.

Although I don"t play poker, and barely understand the terminology. Good luck to all who are playing today, especially my brother Dave Potter.
-
+1 for Dave Potter, good luck mate.
-
GL to all the BCPC boys in the M.E......that is Andy Overton (Who I backed), Will Young (who I also backed) and Ant Williams (Who was backed on behalf of the BCPC, as were the other two).
As for our "Last Longer" bet, all of the above three have a shot at the £120 prize, providing they DONT make the money, along with Scouse, providing he DOESN"T get banned first !!
Entry fees are still required form Steve.R, Ant and Tony.T....will see you on Sept 11th for those boys.
Good luck to Steve Redfern in the horse, which he WILL win !!
Should ALL the above make the money, then I will win the last longer......so C"MON ANT.......TRIPLE-UP QUICKLY !!

Well done on the third Ant.
Now thats why we call you "The Nit"! :-)
-
Well done to everyone on FT - I had a great weekend and was chuffed to finish 6th. Everyone was a pleasure to sit with! APAT, DTD and all involved were great too.
Can"t believe how that photo looks! Of all the photos taken I get 1 put in that looks incriminating - it wasn"t how it looked honest! :)
Also have not stopped smiling at the looks of shock around the table when I turned over my K-3. After all the jibes of not playing a hand I thought I may get away with that - damn Aces!
Anyway I"m off to the golf shop to get them new clubs I promised myself when I had £600gtd.
Hope to see all again at the next one
Ian

well done ant chuffed 4 ya mate

Don"t beat yourself up about that KQ fold - it was the absolute correct fold against the AQ....
-
Well played Charles, now for the GUKPT mate :)
Special congrats to Foggy and Ant - a damn good day for the midlands between the 3 of you!!
-
Good morning everyone!
Well done to Charles Mason, I don"t beleive we actually met at any of the tables in the ME but I"m sure he deserved it.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the APAT for putting together such a fantastic structured event. I have organised lots of finals for my old company pokerdownthepub.com before we merged with Redtooth Poker and in my opinion the APAT have put things together perfectly. The tournament structure, the choice of venue, the staff, and the community feel from the players makes this a perfect event that I will definatly be attending again in future. (Not as an alternate this time though! :))
I look forward to seeing you all in Bolton.
Paul Pitchford.
-
Congratulations Charles! WTG
Congrats Jamie on 2nd and Silver
and
WTG Ant on 3rd and Bronze! Superb result VWD! Proud of you!
Once again another fun filled APAT weekend and I have had a ball.
Thanks to Des, Tighty, Leigh and Tikay for everything, you did yourselves proud.
-
very well played lads and congratulations to the winner
-
Well played Charles, now for the GUKPT mate :)
Special congrats to Foggy and Ant - a damn good day for the midlands between the 3 of you!!
Thx Duncan and to everyones kind words of congratulation for what is no doubt my poker highlight. Waking up this morning I had to really pinch myself!
What a fantastic weekend, superbly run by Des, Richard, Tony, Leigh and the rest of the team, these events clearly do not run themselves, these guys worked like Trojans!
Special mention to everyone at DTD, its simply the best where else would you rather play?
Last but no least my fellow final tablers, I have made a few in the past but this one was truly memorable for the camaraderie, wit and good grace of everyone. Special mention to Ant with whom I seemed to tangle throughout the tourney and to Jamie who took the most savage bad beat with great dignity, I was humbled!
I have played a few APAT's over recent times but this whole weekend, the Omaha, Main event and railing the HORSE was simply my best poker experience. Roll on Bolton hope I can get a seat there!
Charles....
-
Well done all, was great fun.
I did run really hot in general, had more beats than suckouts though I think. Cracked QQ with T7 when at half starting stack on day one and KK with AQcc for 70k, KK with AJ for 200k. Think that"s the only beats I gave, nothing post. Oh and K6 vs 55 for 70k
Lost QQ vs 44 for 240k, A9 vs KT for 140k, AK Vs Q9 for 300k, 99 Vs KQ for 700k, 88 vs JQ for 600k.
But yeah no complaints from me obviously, I ran super hot for the vast majority of the tournament. Was great fun, the atmosphere at APAT is unlike anything else I"ve played and I can"t recomend it enough.
WP to the champ, unlucky Jamie.
-
Just arrived home from Nottingham, had a fantastic time. DTD really sets the standard for Poker rooms, an absolute joy to play there. If this is the future of Poker then ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
APAT yet again pull out all the stops to cater for its members, thanks so much Des, Richard, Leigh and the rest of the team, you have us well and truly spoiled. My only disappointment is that I don"t get to enough events :(
-
What can i say, quite humbled by the support, massive thank you to you all it was very much appreciated.
Not one for long posts but i"m going to try and put some sort of "trip" report together on quite an unreal
weekend for myself (after i have caught up on some sleep),still trying to get an angle on the £2k ladertastic
hand that had everyone in the casino talking and comming to me with there own thoughts on.It was a tough one,
believe you me!
-
Congrats to the FT-ers and the awesome top 3.
Very special thanks to Des, Tighty, Leigh and DTD"s Mark for a superbly well-run poker event with slick table balancing, smooth table closures, and finger-on-the-pulse Forum updates for home railers.
The whole event was immensely enjoyable, with a great atmosphere for some serious amateur poker.
Brilliant job APAT and DTD! THANK YOU ;)
-

Yea it was a great game on the sunday - limping was pretty much banned which is always a good thing :) Was good to meet u and witness u being a sicko and catching a 10!! I def thot he had AK, but he was just a sicko who shoved 2x pot w/ top 2. Weird spot.
I dedicated a lot of my time to the 1/1 PLO game but I played appaulingly bad on the Sunday so it was for the best to go and play H/E and blow off some steam.
