Oh and get the time changed back to an 8pm start.   ;)

Well exactly !!!!!

The description does still say "Additional GUKPT Main Event seat for the winner"

Would hate for any comeback on APAT from someone that doesn"t read the forum.  ;D

This is what it now says on BSQ, but on the APAT website it still says "GUKPT main event seat added for the winner" on the adbanner for events in september. Does this need changing too??

I may be mistaken, but I"m sure previous winners of the online events won GUKPT main event seats. I just read some of the past tourney reports and it said that the winners won a GUKPT main event seat.

What"s happening? Have BSQ moved the goalposts??

Having said that, CoC seat is still a very good prize.

Post by: APAT on September 12, 2009, 02:18:27 AM
We couldn"t put the winner of the Scottish Amateur Championship into the Champion of Champions event as it was won in a Gala, so we"ve had to swap this seat with that.  The Champion of Champions event will contain all of the GUKPT main event winners, so it will be a great event to be part of.

Call the police! Someone seems to have stolen most of my chips. On a 9 high flop, Chrissie Connor makes a two-thirds-pot continuation bet, I shove, he calls. I have Queens, he has 10s and goes on to hit a runner runner flush, ironically including a queen on the turn. Sometimes this game just isn"t funny. FFS

UPDATE 1 - Ignore the above. I"ve just won a pot shoving with 6 2 off getting called by q 8 suited. It does even out after all

UPPDATE - Badbeat in my favour number 2. AA of Mummzy no match for K 10

AA (48k) v KT(85k) after i reraised him pre and i bet K hi flop for him to put me all in, of course the obligatory T on turn was enough to knock me out.

Deflated after being in top 5 most of the way, oh well onwards and upwards.

There seems to be a huge contrast with how people approach the online nationals to the live ones.

Spose people don"t wanna play for a coupla hours after travelling all that way (well apart from me lol)

Well done to all the finalists and to Paul for capturing his second APAT title in as many weeks.  That"s a first.  Also, very well done to Grant on his Bronze, after taking Gold in the last Online Championship event.  Medals will be presented in Bolton, so could Paul, Simon and Grant confirm that they intend to take up their option to purchase a seat before the clickfest next Thursday.

Didn"t realise it was you Paul. Had I known, I might not have tried that dumb move when you flopped top set (your subtle check behind on the flop had me thinking you had something like AK AJ and has missed, hence the mis-timed c/r on the turn)

Given that you were relatively short(ish) before that hand, and I chipped you up to go and win it, you owe me a few of your chips at the CoC event!!

Well played sir.
