ok I will try to keep this short
I was playing on ladbrokes when a message said it was shuting down because some one else was using my account. A minute later my brother phones me up to say, laddies had sent him an email & had put $10 in his account so he reinstalled their software, he had some weeks earlier binned them after having a bad run but reinstalled it to play the free $10 only to find he was on my account. sitting at the table I had just been kicked out of.
Firstly I NEVER share any account details with any one, now back in april I had qualified for a weekly final on laddies for a ticket to Killarney, & my server at home was down (virgin media) so I asked him if I could log on to laddies at his house which he agreed (AOL) so I unclicked his auto log in, & logged my details in anyway I never won. the next day he put his own details back in.
he then continued to sigh in each day when he played for almost 6 months with no problems always playing his account, as you would expect.
3 weeks ago he bins laddies after a bad run, reinstalls because they have deposited a $10 in his account to find himself on MY account how can this happen ???
laddies have looked at the logger accounts & say I must have given him my account details I DID NOT.
they have frozen my account & now asked asked me to send documents to provewho I am & sign a declaration of liability
maybe its just me ...............................does this sound strange ??

I read that title as "Ladies "software" problem." I was about to suggest that sort of thing wasn"t appropriate for a poker forum and to seek professional advice from a gynecologist.

Maybe his operating system remembered your log in details and this has nothing to do with Laddies. So on re installing he may have inadvertently logged in as you. So you may not have told him your password, but you did in fact tell his op sys what it is.
Hope this helps, and if you want to carry on @ Laddies, send them what they"re asking for and also a note to explain what may have happened.
Cheers Paul

Oh yes and then change your password, good practise having logged on elsewhere.

My problems with Laddies software are....
1...It stops my games if I try to look at hand-history when around an hour into a tourney and...
2...It has also done the same on one table while NOT on another......but I have to shut BOTH down to re-start the one that has stopped !!
Frustrated of Wednesbury !!

I"d struggle to live with that Brian.
Don"t know if clearing out internet clutter etc, flash upto date? Certainly email them or phone, somebody should be able to talk you through it or at least pass it onto their IT Dept.

Cheers Paul, it is now on my "Things I must get round to doing" list.

The other thing spud, has your brother done a system restore, that may explain him being ok for 5/6 months and then logged in as you, or am i reading it wrong. Anyway hope your sorted with it, glad to try and be of some help.
