Title: S3 Congratulations Walsall - APAT National League Champions 2009
Post by: APAT on November 16, 2009, 00:07:24 AM
Congratulations to captain Brian Yates and his team from Walsall Poker Club who have won the APAT National League 2009.  Successful final team members Marcel Furet, Tony Trippier, Andrew Duncan and Paul Foy have each qualified to play a GUKPT event, with 20% of any prize money won being redistributed to the other scoring members of Walsall Poker Club.

Well played and we look forward to seeing you defend your title in 2010.

Thanks on behalf of the Walsall team for your thanks and good luck messages. We hope to do APAT proud at the GUKPT.

We shouldn"t forget to congratulate Manchester and Bristol on their silver and bronze - I"m delighted to get my hands on one of those medals and they will be with us all forever!

The organisation from the APAT guys was excellent throughout and as said elsewhere a big thanks to Blue Square for supporting our league - these really are huge value prizes.

Oh and a word for martin719 - what a ferocious player. I don"t want to run into him again in a hurry (though he"s used up all of his luckbox tokens ;))
