Title: Computer help (cannot play YouTube videos)

For some reason I can not play videos on YouTube.

It says "you either have Java turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player"

But I have the latest Flash Player (number 10) but cannot find anything on Java in my programs.

I can play YouTube videos that as been posted on here but if I go directly to the site then I have the problems.    

I can also play videos from other sites like BBC I-Player

Any help appreciated

And yes I am a computer dunce

Go to www.java.com and download the Java player

Be honest, are you sure its Redtube videos that you are trying to watch?? :)
