Bit surprised that the nominations for performance in a non-APAT event don"t include the only APAT member to FT a WSOP event [7/2095] this year (for $74k), with most of the best-known players in the world below him, followed up - in between playing Nottingham, Bolton & Luton - with cashes in the WSOPE [62/608] and a WSOP circuit event [10/385] in Atlantic City.          http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=130494

Yes, this is an Open category.  Members can nominate anyone who they feel has made a positive contribution to UK poker.

Agree John, this looks like a miss - Steven should have been considered for nomination, but he wasn"t.  My apologies to him.

surprised not to see full tilt among the nominees for best online poker room. Any reason for the omission? (i.e. am I way behind on some scandal or something?)

No, just wanted to give a shout out to some of the UK companies, as Stars were covering the global nomination.

FTOPS events starting at 1am is hardly a "contribution to UK poker"

Thanks Brian, a bit of a surprise tbh but I guess when the vote is open to all it becomes a popularity contest  ;)

If its any consolation I voted for John Murray  ;D
