Where"s Hull?????
-

Isn"t Hull the place where everyone there denies they"re from Hull?
-
Hull used to be the biggest city/town never to have had a top flight football team. Which city/town now holds that record?
*I don"t know the answer, I"m hoping some anorak will work it out.
-
Plymouth? Oh, probably one of those sprawly West Midlands or Manchester townships. Walsall. Salford. Something like that.
-
England is pretty grim when you think about it.

I think it"s also the only football team without any letters where you can colour bits in :-)

One of my old school mates plays in goal for Hull. And yes, he wants another club to take him away.

Hull suffered severe bombing during world war 2 made even worse when the axis powers joined in.
-
If you think Hull is bad, I assume no one on this forum has ever been to Kings Lynn?
-
I had to process a subscription yesterday for a client where the user had put as his address his apartment number followed by:
2nd Star On The Right And Straight On Til Morning
Land Of Green Ginger
Hull
I"m not sure whether to be amused by the whimsical nature of the address, or annoyed that I had to waste my time checking to make sure that it wasn"t a made up address :)
In the spirit of Hull bashing, I"ll go with the latter

My brother went to university there. Big mistake. Left after one year. I do remember a pub, though, up the top of some hill where all the beer was brewed in baths and was stupidly strong. He had a mate who could drink 10+ pints in a normal pub and he was on the floor after about 4.

Are you sure this was a pub and not someones house ;)
