To keep us going till season 4
Which decade was best for music?
For me it's got to be the 80's (Depeche Mode, Kraft work, Human League) I also like Queen and David Bowie but from the 70's.
-
90"s - venga boys and aqua.
-
pretty sure the 80s was the worst decade for music
i much prefer the 90s or the 70s

70"s == no more arguments 10cc/Thin Lizzy/Pink Floyd/Fleetwod Mac/Queen/Led Zepplin/Quo the list goes on
-
70s, clearly.
One thing we can be sure about is that it"s 70s/80s/90s, not 70"s/80"s/90"s.
-
early 80s! 2 tone FTW!!
70s next - for all the very good reasons Duke mentions.
60s next - Beatles - nuff said.
90s? 00s? hmmmmm nope
-
Got to be the 70,s for me all that heavy metal ( AC/DC etc ) ;D ;D ;D then the beginning of the 80,s after that not bothered as I lost my interest in music the same way I lost my hair ( gradually ) :"( :"( :D
-
90s for me. rave!
-
It"s a toss up between the 70"s and 80"s for me.
Have today received a 6 cd set that I ordered.....111 hits from the 70"s.....awesome
-
I"ll go 1970s - Boney M,Father Abraham and The Smurfs, Showaddywaddy and Lieutenant Pigeon

damn i was wrong - i thought you and he were one and the same..!
-
Father Abraham, never heard of them
-
Easy, the 70"s something for everyone, and boy they all seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Glam Rock: TRex, Bowie, Roxy Music then Mud, Sweet, Glitter etc etc.
Classic/Concept Albums: Led Zep 4, Pink Floyd Dark Side.., The Who Whos Next, Stones Sticky Fingers etc etc.
Punk: Sex Pistols, Clash, Stranglers, The Jam, Buzzcocks
Kids: Rolf Harris, Ken Dodd and the Diddymen, Pinky and Perky(they seem to be making a comeback)
Nough said, end of thread. :D
-
90s easy for me - Oasis, Blur, Manics, Nirvana, Take That etc
-
90s for me. rave!
and
90s easy for me - Oasis,
without a doubt.
-
Late seventies early eighties, glam rock, punk rock, ska, and then the new romantics, there was a new mood every 6 months! Quality. Having said that Oasis were pretty good.... mad for it.
-
90s all the way!
Suede, Pulp, Oasis, Stereophonics, Ash etc etc etc
-
Does it depend on how old you are to which decade you prefer? I was in my teens in the 80s (I know I look to young) so I prefer 80s music. With the response so for I would say most of you are over the age of 45 ::)
-
70"s no question .....end of! ;D
The 10"s haven"t exactly got off to a good start have they - Jo Mcelderry, Cheryl Cole (ok not bad to look at) & bloody Jedward to name but a few of the train crashes ::)
-
Nostalgic memories of lost youth? I wonder. :-\
Considering everything is happening right NOW. Perhaps the 10"s IS the best decade for music. That could include converting all your old 70"s vinyl records to MP3 format and appreciating them once again! ;)

Which film as the best sound track?
This is an easy one for me, Highlander music by Queen. I also have a soft spot for musicals, Bing Crosby in White Christmas or Sound of Music there I've said it "I like musicals" that's been some-think I wanted to get off my chest for ages

A treat for all the people who included David Bowie - a few unforgettable iconic moments of his career:
