I"d now like to extend my warmest Welcome to each and every one of you who have signed up for a Club within North Division (Scotland, North England, Belfast and Dublin).
With thousands of emails going out yesterday I"m sure we will be welcoming yet more familiar and hopefully more new faces over the next few weeks. You can do your bit too though by inviting friends to sign up to take part in what promises to be an exciting Team Poker Event - especially if you know folk who play in the areas we"re still a bit sparse in.
I look forward to meeting you all on the Virtual Felt on 1st February if not before.

I would have been born there also (probably not in the barn), if not for some quaint old custom they had in the 50"s of sending un-married mothers away somewhere and taking the babies from them... fortunately my mother did a runner to an Aunt in England.

Our league games are on every second Sunday Keith and we could do with all the help we can get! We got off to a rough start, but I"ve a feeling we"re on the way up. :) If you know of anyone else living in Ireland who might like to join us, feel free to point them in this direction.

Whats the basic strategy, eg Play your own game and let results look after themselves, or never slow play you"re own teammates. Dunno why I"m asking this, cos I never slow play anything. :o
