Yes you could, but it would need to be two different Betfair accounts.  One in your name, one in his.

yes it is, and although it"s a $20 buy in, the single allowable rebuy only costs $10...... it does take 24 hours to be processed though.

**Bad Beat Warning**

Raise, three-bet (me with KK) and a call.

Flop Kxx (no jacks)

All the money goes in & TheSnapper6 has JJ

I don"t need to finish...........

I"m not one to moan about bad beats (much  ::)) I just had to post it so it would seem more...... real!!

Fair play to TheSnapper6, he did nothing wrong, and I"m really pleased you put those chips to good use - You owe me a beer at the Vic, if I get there  ;)

Same time tomorrow Guys  :)

Oh and for those who were on the table at the time, I know you were concerned but rest assured the cats are fine!!

Exactly that.  At 9pm on the Thursday, the holding tank tourneys become available for registration.  Once they are full, that"s it.

It"s just like buying into any other tournanment on Betfair.

It"s far from a random date.

The holding tank tournament is there to allow us to sell the live event online.  Before the live event, there is an admin time required to transfer funds to the live venue etc.

I"m afraid I don"t know...it is quite common for gaming sites to only allow one IP address to use the site regardless of the number of accounts.

It"s to stop multi-accounting play even if it"s not a factor here.

I"m struggling to find a solution around this at the moment other than you finding another computer to log on to Betfair with.

We have had plenty of people playing the same tournament from the same household/presume router so far this season.  They are obviously playing on different pc"s.  I"m no tech expert, but I presume that there must be something in the Betfair log"s on each computer that doesn"t allow you to reg from the same pc.

If Betfair have said they will do this, perhaps it is worth making sure they know it is a capped event and to adjust the numbers accordingly for you.

How can the wife buy in as we only have one computer but two Betfair accounts and it keeps throwing me out with the message under able to register as one person already registered from this computer!!!!!!!!

It would appear that you are only allowed one entry per IP address.

So how is this going work then, with two APAT members and one computer???

Betfair are useless, they will look into it and manual register my wife in the next 24 hours, GREAT!!!!!!!!

Tried to explain but unfortunately I do believe it may not be a UK call centre but at least she had heard of APAT!!!!!

Amazing...20 minutes in and less than 100 ME seats sold.

And only 1 Pro Seat (to my mate Jim)....oooh, the overlay on that one.

Hmmmm...

Yeah..seems to be linked to the IP address of the specific computer.

Only 96 seats sold so far of, I think, 140. Looks like he should be OK.

Hi

I totally missed the Satelites/ buyin for the UK Champs, my own fault for not checking the forum enough. I heard from someone that there may be seats being sold tomorrow (Monday 22nd) is that correct or have I missed my chance?

Betfair made an error and limited the initial seats to 100 instead of 150. I understand that the remaining seats (I think it"s actually 36 after satellites etc) will be available sometime on Monday at the latest although it"s possible they may re-open the tank early.

I"d keep checking.

The holding tank is back open, and should be capped at 136 seats.

So, I reckon there"s about 20 seats left at the moment.

It shouldn"t be.  Will have to investigate in the morning.
