Title: National League Week 2
Post by: MintTrav on March 14, 2010, 19:28:25 PM
Hi Guys

I"ve been away & internetless all weekend. Travelling back now and stopped at M1 services. I have registered for tonight"s game but it"ll be late before I"m home - maybe too late. It"ll prob make no difference to our points anyway. Good luck & TID. Later!

John

Finished about 30th.. one hand that ruined me was when I was holding KK flop was QJ9 and a guy pushes all in for 2.3k and my tourney life.. decided to let it go.

Fast forward to blinds at about 300.. all in a few times, then all in with 2k with KQ, called by the butto with AK.. bad timing as usual by me.

Hope some guys cashed for us.

Brilliant! 6th for Leigh Efford and 5th for Carl Lawton means that Solent wins this week.

Our first 1st! Many more to come, I"m sure.

Well done guys.

Well, there would appear to be, ahem, a very slight (almost unnoticeable) miscalculation in my calculation, in not taking account of some other teams who had top-4 players also having players in the minor places on the FT. It means that we actually finished 2nd rather than 1st. Still plenty to be pleased with and we are well-placed on the leaderboard. The blame for the error lies entirely with Leigh, for not winning the event and avoiding any confusion.

John I disagree, I blame the captain for telling me to place and not go for the win :)  Obviously I chose to place rather than win after such confident direction received from captain and supporting team mates, otherwise I would have definitely won.

How many new members do you have lined up?

My Betfair client decided to screw up, plus I forgot.

Still made 36th.

How many new members do you have lined up?

Can"t quantify it for you. One in already tonight & I"m expecting several others before the next matchday.

Still made 36th.

37th. Don"t try to big yourself up.
