Title: Heads up Blinds
Post by: Sunseekers on March 15, 2010, 12:54:39 PM
Opinions please. had slight discrepencies

this happend on 3 handed on the final table.

player 2 is knocked out.

next hand

player 1 goes onto the button (me)

player 3 is on the big blind.

does player1 have to post small blind

as he woulda been on the button or is it big blind only.

casino argued i must post small blind as its heads up. i dissagreed it should be big blind only as i look down at 24 off.

blinds were 15/30k i was not happy to give up 15k outta my 160K, when i had button and thought its should be big bllind only as i lose my dealer button advantage if there were 3 players.

let me know your comments, was i screwed outta 15k lol

Unlike some other poker rules there is no grey area here - the casino was right.

Seems only online that when this occurs at HU stage does the small blind pass

Easy way to remember it is that NOBODY can ever post the BB twice in a row. Therefore as you were BB in the hand previous, you automatically become SB in this one. The casino were correct my friend.
