Question for tighty - Why do they have frosted windows on the toilets on a plane?
Another question for tighty.....Why can"t they make the whole plane out of the same substance that the little indestructible black box is made out of?
Another question for tighty.....Why can"t they make the whole plane out of the same substance that the little indestructible black box is made out of?
The material that the black box is made of is too heavy. A whole plane made of the same material (All stainless steel), it would have a hard time getting off the ground and would be ridiculously expensive

How about in the style of a brazilian Football commentator?
Joobs would like Brian Blessed commentating the next hand plz.
would you have called George??
would you have called George??
Deffo. Snap with stack sizes. I would either check if I wanted to keep the pot small or bet/snap. Bet/folding turns a hand with a lot of equity into a bluff

Calling with a straight draw is easy when you"re George and can"t miss.
WP both.
Unlucky Carl
Thank you Gareth.
Gonna decide what to spend my 30 quid on now
Great result Carl (dont mind my bet) from a very short stack (4k) to 2nd is a huge achievement -- WD
+ 1
WD to all.
Fantastic nights entertainment.
It"s been emotional....
Many congrats Gareth, WP and GG Carl

..........oh.......and just before I go........did you know that Tony Trippier won a bronze medal in stud ?????
Goodnight all......see you in London in April
Congrats to Gareth....and UL Carl......WHAT a comeback from 4k !!
WP Paul McG too.....I don"t think there is a player out there who deserves a Title more than him ......but for now he will just have to have to stick with the title of "That man with the funny beard !"
Thanx to Tony Tripps, Stu Langford and Marc Ward, now christened as "THE BCPC GONK", for a top weekend of fun, frolics and loads of laughter.
Congrats to Andy Overton on a great FT and ANOTHER for the BCPC to keep our awesome record in APAT events alive.
Soooooooo many laughs this weekend but some of the highlights ?........watching the guy in the bar in a wheelchair at around 2am last night as he (twice) did "The Dying Fly"......you shouldn"t laugh, but he was p..sed and it WAS hilarious.
Watching the locals playing cash, "Call, Call, Raise to £7.....All-in FOR £250......I have K-K so I call, u got Aces ??....no......3-3 !!!!!"
Discussing the game with great people like Colin O"Prey, John Murray and many, many others till around 4am (Steve Redfern......we hadn"t left the casino when you were eating your weetabix mate !).
Then on the way back, seeing a NAKED guy standing out of the sunroof of a car that passed us.......so I caught them up and pulled alongside at 60mph and how shocked were they to look over and see this guy in a gimp mask in the passenger seat !!!
APAT weekends just get better and better and so does the banter and cameraderie. Top marks to Leigh, Tighty, Des and Co for another top-job..........oh.......and just before I go........did you know that Tony Trippier won a bronze medal in stud ?????

Well played all this weekends winners, and Fters. Sounds like it was a top weekend, and because of the fantastic coverage I feel like I was there!
I have just spent the last hour reading through the updates. Its so different when the updates are about yourself.
Congratulations to Gareth on the win. Thoroughly nice guy. Played well all weekend.
Many thanks to all supporters (you included George lol)...
On day 2, I was involved in a lot of hands, massive come-back when I should have gone out in 11th place and left with 4k chips on 6k blinds.. Who would have thought 10 mins later I"d have 160k chips...!!!
Best APAT weekend for me... obv... I will do a little report of the weekend when I get home Tuesday.
BTW.. I played the in-house tournament here at Aspers on Friday night, came 5th, 6 were paid, so that was a nice start to the weekend... Tonight I play at the new Le Croupier opening night event at Cardiff, so lets see if I can make a hat-trick of cahses this weekend...
Cheers
Carl.
Out in 13th place is Phil Tompkinson.
Allin against Dave Potter.
Phil has A T, Dave has pocket sixes
The board comes 2 5 J 4 3
Phil is celebrating hitting his straight, until it"s pointed out Dave has a higher straight.

FYP
PLO
Dave "Allinbob" Green wins the side event, and wins an APAT Pro seat.
I was also pleased with my own performance, going out in about 35th! Exit hand found me looking down at As, and calling a push all in by a lady with a short stack, then being called by another. Hoping to get a big, near triple up!
Lady had 56s Other caller QQ me AA :)
End result: Came third in the hand :( Queen on flop, then Lady completes her flush!! FML!
But to be honest it didnt really matter, just enjoyed the experience. Had registered for London but have had to cancel as realised I had made another arrangement on 17th ::)
Anyway, just a big thank you to the organisers, I look forward to my next event!
aint beer brillianttttt

See you at the Vic.
Another bunch of APAT experiences................Alan Lake"s loose aggressive maniac style on my first (and only) table. Very entertaining to watch if you"re not on the receiving end. I can see how he builds some big stacks................. playing alongside Jack Prime for my entire tournament, but not his (well done Jack).................playing cash against the locals who made Alan look tight - eg bet £50 PF UTG, folded around, win £2 and show Q4; eg2 Flop 779, WASP bets £5, I call with K9, local raises all-in for £90, WASP calls with T7, I fold, local shows K2...................the bra that ended up in the room Dave Green, Colin O"P & I were sharing.................Dave being rubbed down by the dealer for folding double-suited Kings preflop but then winning the Omaha (almost the dream final with Colin coming 3rd).................... playing limit (not pot-limit) Omaha high-low for a couple of hours with Leigh W, Paul McG, Colin O"P, Dave G, Brendan B and Dai who came second in the PLO with Dave raising/reraising every street without looking at his cards and showing down the best hand nearly every time. Even when Brendan scooped a big pot with A4 on a 235xx board, Dave turned over his cards and found A4 to split the scoop............. putting the cards away and discovering the A of Spades had been in the box all the time and we had played with 51 cards.................breakfast on Paul McG today after he had made a quick bet passing the roulette table and won £175................
A few of the regulars were missed though, both for the craic and in the overall standard of play. I hope a venue with greater capacity is found for next year.

Hope you can get a seat for London, be good to see you again and hopefully meet you on the final table!
Special mention to Martin who bubbled the medals, very unlucky as he had shown the aggression and knowledge to take the table initiative, extremely unlucky on your exit hand. WP.
Massive well overdue congratulations to a fabulous guy Dave(Allinbob)/(do you know what i folded there?) Green for taking down the Omaha, v Another cracking Lad Dai Llewelyn, who himself saved a bloodbath of a heads up battle by knocking out Brendan, yet another......... oh sod it there all good lads, in third spot.
