As I said handily positioned after the first break, but this tournament quickly becomes a shove fest, with little or no play, as all the smaller stacks have only one move. Have played 2 of these now, and I really enjoyed the first hour, but after that......I will continue to play them cos its APAT, but TBH they are not much fun.
For the record shoved with pocket 8, called by AK, ace on the flop. Out approx 50th.

TBH think the structure is pretty spot on. Final Table last night finished about 12.30am. We had a great battle four handed which lasted ages. Always comes a point in any torney when the short/medium stacks start pushing, thought the standard last night was very good on the whole.

The standard of play is good, its the APAT first division.  ;) Still to be convinced about the structure though.

To be fair, i think that the structure is not far from being spot on. The problem is in APAT games that lots of players value their tournament life more than in other tournaments so there is always going to be a stage where the blinds are big compared to the stacks. Once you get to a couple of tables out there is quite a bit of play to be had.

Not sure i would be experiencing that again though! :P
