Title: S4 APAT Central European Online Championship 2010

APAT are pleased to confirm details of the Central European Online Poker Championship, taking place at Betfair Poker from 8pm on Saturday, May 1st.

The entry fee for the event is $50 + $0, and players entering will start with 10,000 chips and 12 minute blind levels.

The winner of the event will receive a significant cash prize, National Title & Gold Medal and an entry to a GUKPT Main Event.

Satellites to the Online Championship event will be available at Betfair Poker on Monday 26th April, Tuesday 27th April and Wednesday 28th April.  Each satellite will offer one seat awarded for every $50 in the prizepool.

Monday 26th April 2010 - 8pm - $20 Freezeout
Tuesday 27th April 2010 - 8pm - $10 Freezeout
Wednesday 28th April 2010 - 8pm - $5 Rebuy

In addition to the main event, APAT are pleased to confirm the Central European Online PL Omaha Event, taking place at Betfair Poker from 9pm on Saturday, May 1st.

The entry fee for the event is $20 + $0, and players entering will start with 5,000 chips and 12 minute blind levels.

The winner of the event will receive a cash prize as per standard Betfair Poker payouts, and an entry to the next APAT Professional League Event to be held at the G Casino, Aberdeen on Saturday 19th June 2010.

There will be one satellite available at Betfair Poker on Wednesday 28th April at 8pm.  This will be a $5 PLO Freezeout and will offer one seat for every $20 in the prizepool.


Both events are Online Ranking events; with 18 points available to the winner of the Main event and 9 points available to the winner of the Pot Limit Championship event.  The winner of the Online Rankings will win a GUKPT seats worth £1,070 and a seat at the APAT Champions Final, where they will play for a £20,000 sponsorship package.

Both of the events and the satellite require a password.  Please enter the password apatmember when registering.

OK peeps the time is nearly apon us, coming off the back of a brilliant 3rd in the local aquarium last night - I am on fire

Now if I can only get 7 hands in a row with and A and hit my two outers when behind I should do OK  ;D

I sattellited in on Weds and didnt really look at the structure. 10 k and 15 min blinds. Superb!

Just a quick hijack for a well done to my good mate Phil "TC" Tompkyfish  for his first APAT medal. Been a while coming, but well done mate, chuffed to bits for ya :)

cheers mate, i seriously thought that game was yours to win,you hit so many times when behind,but lady luck must have felt sorry for me in the end. thoroughly enjoyed it although on the bubble it was scary as i am usually bubble boy.
heads up was a good little battle,but to hit quads on the winning hand was the best.

Well done all medal winners (sigh)

I had a bit of a moment in the NLHE as scouse who had recently joined our table shoved in EP with a zillion big blinds, I was in late position with AQ which is obv well above the top of Steve"s range but we both had average stacks so it was an obvious fold ...(not) too many tables and a misclick and I called!! oh never mind I"ll be winning, then I saw his AK.  This left me with 2 x BB"s which I managed to rush up to chip leader on the FT, then got outplayed  ::)

Well done to Warren, a tough opponent in both comps all night and also well done to Alan in the PLO.
