What is it with the mods locking loads of topics these days. Is someone getting a little bit lock-topic-happy.?
I mean, I dont read the forum every day and come along, see a topic from a little earlier, and cant reply to it. I would understand if the topic had shown some decent reason for locking, like a big fight or something, but I dont see any decent reason..!!!

Carl..might have been me.
Can you be specific on what you need unlocked?
In general a topics might get locked once it"s have gone some time past it"s useful date and other topics deserve higher priority on the thread list..

I cant be bothered goign back to find the topic I came across because I just see a topic and respond / react to it as I see it.
I don"t really see any good reason to just lock topics because they are old. Older topics go onto lower pages so have their own way of disappearing off the screen. I can understand why topics like the seatc exchanges being sold get closed and locked, because they are done with, but just normal threads, can always be added to at a later date when someone reads an old thing? But not if they are getting locked..!!
Cheers
Carl.

That thought had crossed my mind, bit Carl does make a valid point (and not for the first time this season), so felt it should be taken seriously. ;D

Don"t know if it was me as I don"t recall locking anything like this recently but it"s possible I did and forgot...so I also took his comments on board.

I don"t lock topics, I leave that to the higher powers.
