I can give you some advice on Sussex/Surrey/London but I never payed in Hampshire but here is a list of english cardrooms prepared by the hendon mob.  All have addresses and a lot will have their own website with details of their regular tournaments.

The only one I could see near you was Grosvenor Southampton but according to the website they don"t have much of a program.  Might be worth giving them a ring.

your best bet is the Grovenour in Bournemouth, they run all the usual stuff starting at around £10, r-buys, freezeouts etc as well as satalites to GUKPT qualifiers and events. 8)

Hello Jon,

Southampton Grosvenor:
Monday £5 rebuy (90 mins) 120 runners max
Tuesday ? Freeroll
Wednesday £25 - 1 x rebuy OR addon
Thursday £5 rebuy (80 runners)
Sunday Freeroll

For Stanley -  have a look at their website:

Select Maxims and Mint from the drop down menu.

Hope this helps,

Steve.

Grosvenor is VERY soft. Stanley soft too, Harbour House a bit tougher (but then its a PL fest...and I don"t do PL really)

Student nights (Thu?) at Grosvenor is a little annoying, with quite a few drunk, loud students blatantly defying etiquette. There are now SNG"s there every week night.

soft is right for Grosvenor! Not quite casino royale, and what"s all this shuffling business about!

Had fun so thanks again...... got "rivered" three times but made last 20 of tourney and made some money in sit and go......... I"ll be back!
