Title: Friendly Game Mon 19th July 8.30pm on Betfair+$55 Bounty+
Post by: furnesspoker on July 18, 2010, 11:14:08 AM
Since I won the last two Betfair Monday games back to back, I am adding a very attractive bounty on myself.

I can confirm that the bounty on my head will not only be a brass card guard, there will also be a Betfair shirt, pokerbook in a box gift set and a $55 Ticket to the winner for the $5000.00 Gtd Turbo Chaser!!!!!

And just to make this a little more interesting, should I win for the 3rd week in a row then the BUBBLE takes the seat.

EVERYONE is welcome to play in these games and enjoy the friendly banter and fun

Furthermore, play in 5 of the games and you will be invited to play for a £75 Ticket Freeroll

the games are EVERY week on a Monday 8.30pm and ar in the lobby as

Furness Poker Friendly
Password:  furness
Buy in just $2.20

Here is the updated table for qualification for the £75.00 Ticket Freeroll, those in Yellow need to play one more game, we will hold the freeroll on September 6th Monday at slightly later time of 9pm (A week after the WCOAP)

I"ll be having another crack now that I"ve come to terms with the fact that pocket kings with a KJJ flop should be an insta fold...  :D

Good game. I"ve read it now. Just registered into it without looking at the forum first.

Where will I find the ticket for the Turbo Chaser?

Will pick up goodie bag at DTD during Worlds. Could the Betfair shirt be pressed so that I could wear it in the main event ;) ?

Really enjoying the series of tourneys - see you next Monday.

Hi Mate, and WELL DONE :D  I will speak with the Betfair management tomorrow who will allocate the ticket to your account, OH MY GOD!! Pressed, I think I can arrange for my better half to manage that, what size will you need? - Top Bananas on picking up the goodiebag at DTD, saves me paying a 2nd mortgage to Royal Mail to send it all ;)

Hi,

I think I better have a large (take 16.5 collar), or generous medium maybe.

Was only joking about pressing the shirt.

See you at DTD

Apparantely getting aces is only part of the deal.  You then have to overcome the power that is Alan Mower.

I have the nut flush, Alan has quad nines.

I have trip nines kindly given to me by a rivered 9  ;), this gives Alan a full house.

Oh, and then you have to win coinflips aswell, I lost three in a row.

Great fun tourney though.  Really enjoyed playing for once.   ;D

I was still in, when you ran the NF into quads, Wayne folded the second nuts in the same hand.....he"s obviously better than you  ;)
It is a very enjoyable tourney, and just about at my bankroll level !

Being tight pays off sometimes ;)

Only position saved me in that hand. If I was first to act then my chips would have been in the middle

If I"d thought about it a bit more, when you made the comment about having the 2nd nuts flush, I should have worked out that my nut flush was probably being beaten by whatever Alan had, based on the fact that he couldn"t have the 2nd nut flush.   ;D

Just couldn"t quite get that thought process through in that short a timescale.

I thought he said he had the 2nd nuts, which on the board would have been 99 (which is what I had!!).  Because with 2 others still in I was worried about the straight flush.  Anyhow thanks for all the chips Leigh!!  ;D
